The French Hate Travolta!

John Travolta's presence in France has got a few locals in a disapproving frenzy.
Travolta's From Paris With Love has suspended production after 10 prop cars were set on fire at the housing projects where filming was to be staged.
Cars are regularly torched in French housing projects as a sign of unrest. Most notably, the fires got out of hand during a long riot through the projects in 2005.
90 residents from the neighborhood were scheduled to appear as extras in the film.
But, for now, filming is at a standstill while the incident is investigated and the crew considers options.
Looks like the French aren't fond of Travolta - they certainly aren't fond of Scientology.
Who could blame them?

How am i ignorant. Muslims do occupy the projects, they do kill girls routinely, someone did set a girl on fire in a basement because he didn't like her, and they did set cars on fire during the riots.
Perez said it was john travolta's fault but really it is a religion that solves its disputes with violence against human beings and property. They were probably protesting the presence of americans in their projects.

I do live near the place were the 10 cars were burn and the story is that the filming was canceled because some fucking idiots of young people burnt the staff cars so Besson just gave up just like french authorities usually did…
I think that Besson is more disappointing than Travolta who don't know fren suburbs…And I don't think people mind of him being scientologist..
This story just gave again another bad image of french suburbs in international media…
Actually Kitten Poo- I'll tell you as an American, converted Muslim, (I'm also a military wife- my husband's in Afghanistan) Muslims don't solve their disputes with violence. Islam actually promotes peace. There are extremists and terrorists but there are people like that in every religion. I believe the Oklahoma bomber (a terrorist) was a Catholic infantry soldier. But it wouldn't be okay to say that all Catholics are trailer trash and solve their disputes by bombing places would it? I believe in the goodness of people of all races and religions, and you should too. Being an American means believing in equality.
