Wall Street 2 - Coming To A Theater Near You!

Greed is still good!

While the economy is floundering, Hollywood still seems to be able to find ways to finance crappy movies.

Hollywood's latest endeavor is a sequel to 1987's Wall Street. It will be a contemporary companion to the original.

It'll see Michael Douglas' Gordon Gekko released from jail and tossed into the current economic crisis. While Douglas isn't formally attached to the film, they seem to be banking on it.

Charlie Sheen's Bud Fox will not be returning to the sequel.

The original's producer, Edward R. Pressman, will be reprising his role in the sequel. Allan Loeb - whose credits include Things We Lost in the Fire - will pen the script. Loeb's experience as a licensed stockbroker and at the Chicago Board of Trade should come in handy.

But will people be willing to fork over $12 for the 20th Century Fox film? Is it relevent or just gimmicky?

      D. Hannah's the only one worth watching.., if she didn't butcher her face like the F Hag Madonna.

      C. Sheen is on a sitcom.., i mean dude,, how low can ya' go?

    22. 22

I love Charlie Sheen. I watch him every single night twice with my sister. Funny show. The movie will probably be boring unless they are naming names.

    23. 23

This kicks so much serious ass… YES! I loved this movie. Charlie Sheen has got to come back and do this!!!

    24. 24

Remember Gordon Gekko's high tech brick that he talks to Bud with on the beach?

Jackie Kennedy was a bitch for making JFKJR blow off Daryl.

Is Catherine gonna be showin up with Mike's Depends on set?

    25. 25

That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.
SO, there is an economy crisis, and they're actually putting money on THAT ?

      Wth…
