it's not about undermining marriage, it's about upholding the meaning of what it means to be married..and that's between man and woman. Gay marriage is and never was about equality. Equality exists with domestic partnership laws. What gay marriage is about is giving legitimacy to a particular life style. What gays want to do in their bedrooms is their business. Prop 8 doesn't make loving someone of the same sex a crime. Prop 8 doesn't make homosexuality illegal. All it does is tell homosexuals they can't have a license. Gays have managed to live meaningful lives without being married. I am sure they can survive prop 8 becoming law as it was before judicial activist judges overturned the original law.
And not sure why Malario cares since no gay in his right mind would ever marry him. He's too high maintenance. And he doesn't even wash his ass. Cuban dingleberry anyone?

I understnad both sides of the arguement. Im not gay and gay lifestyle doesnt effect me so I would have no problem voting no. But growing up in a Christian based family and having something so taboo and morally conflicting with beliefs grounded into someone's childhood since they were born, I can see why some may see marraige exclusively as a sacred vow between a man and a woman. And anatomically speaking, it doesnt make sense. So everything is changing to where socially unacceptable things are becoming acceptable and it can be hard for some to abandon life-long maral standings to make people who arent really a big influence on their lives feel more accepted. Honestly, the progression of homosexuals has rapidly become protected and accepted by many groups including many chruches. Marriage is a tradition for married heterosexual couples and changing something that has been the same for ever is touchy to both parties, I think we should ALL be a little more sensitive about it. Before all the homosexuals were making a motion to get married, the average married couple didnt have to have any stance on the subject and now it seems there is media and social pressure to make them really look at the issue.So Im not surpirised to see some hesitance.

Its just another reason some people cant grasp why homosexuals feel the need to have something that is traditionally done before having babies and starting a family, so I think its a valid arguement. How many times have you heard straight people (Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel) say they don't need a piece of paper to live their love together. Well, we gays have had to live that way forever and we want the same choices you have. This is a political event and religion shouldn't enter into it. Just vote.
