$500,000 for NO on Prop H8TE!

PerezHilton.com has exclusively learned that film producer and really rich dude Steve Bing is donating $500,000 to NO On Prop 8. And he's not even gay!
This marks the largest entertainment and non-LGBT gift.
But, with the polls looking a little shaky, No On H8TE still needs help!
Every entertainment leader out there has been solicited for help and invited to a glittering fundraiser next week that will include performances from not only Melissa Etheridge but Mary J. Blige as well. The event, taking place at Ron Burkles home, is nearly sold out - there are only 200 tickets left!
That's a good thing!

i'm totally for NO on 8, and i think it really is unfortunate that polls are showing a decline in support for "NO on 8", but the campaign should have spent some of the huge amounts of money they've been getting from celebs, etc. on free advertising materials to supporters. yard signs, bumper stickers, etc. are all very helpful, and i've defintiely seen more "YES on 8" advertising then "NO on 8".
with the economy being how it is, people need to keep their money and stop giving to stupid causes like "no on prop 8" 500,000?? Is he out of his mind??

Celebrities and gays are just about the only folks voting NO….and the celebrities only want to support gays and everyone in the mixing pool so they can profit from music and movie sales…..and ratings on TV. I think everyone should have the right to have a legal union, dont know if you can really call it marriage or not (im christian and it does say marriage is between a man and woman) but gay couples should be allowed to have the same rights as everyone else. Im still confused as to why donating money is important though. People are gonna vote yes or no, and that doesnt cost a dime. SO where does all this money go exactly? That confuses me.

Nobody has the right to tell ANYONE how to live their lives. I think every child should be taught that it is OK for people to be whoever they are. They should be educated about it just like they should be educated about drugs, sex and other things in life they will encounter. I am divorced and am raising my two daughters….HOWEVER…I make sure my kids remain close to their daddy…as my dad left me when I was little…..
I didn't say it would be a guarantee that the man and woman would remain married…DUH……but fundamentally…..it takes two genders to procreate…and ideally…..it is in the best interest of the child to be raised by it's father and mother…..ideally…..I didn't grow up with my dad…and altho my mom did a great job…I missed that male figure in my life…and ended up making bad choices in the men I desired…as I was always trying to find that 'Father figure' replacement…Thru counseling….there is no replacement….and I suffered as a girl, teen, and woman with no father……
