Janet's Mystery Illness Revealed! Resumes Tour Tonight

We have some Janet Jackson news.
And it's not another cancellation!!!
Ms. Nasty will be returning to her Rock Witchu tour tonight, Wednesday, at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. Janet was forced to cancel/reschedule nine shows - in Montreal, Philadelphia, Boston, Greensboro, N.C., Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Uncasville, Conn., Verona, N.Y., and Manhattan.
E! News has learned through a statement issued by Jackson's people that the dysfunctional-wardrobe-ed pop star was suffering from a rare form of migraine called vestibular migraine, or migraine-associated vertigo. Which results in dizziness caused by a bad headache.
Sounds pretty unpleasant!
Or sounds like they scoured all the medical books for one of the rarest excuses they could find.
Well, whatever it was - dizziness or crappy attendance (We suppose we can see how one could be related to the other) - Janet's back on the road and the show's going on.
We hear that the Rock Witchu show is quite a spectacle, so we can understand why poor health or poor ticket sales could through a wrench in the schedule.
Tickets to the canceled shows will be honored at later dates.
Hopefully she will keep her word this time!

that illness isnt funny my mom has the same thing and its horrible she gets really bad headaches and she gets dizzy and loses her balance…. she gets them out of the blue so its hard for her to drive and do everyday things because shes scared she might have 1 and lose control of the car
vertigo really does suck I was just diagnosed with it a few weeks ago..and when you have a dizzy spell you cant walk or even sit up..its awful…Hope she gets in under control..THERE IS NO CURE!!

Yes, I'm so glad her true fans will get to see her. I saw her in LA and the show was Amazing! Janet Fans, she will not let you down, it will be worth the wait.
I have that illness too. It's hard to explain but she needs to get accupuncture and change her diet. I know it sounds crazy but it's worked for me. A diet for people who are Hyperglycemic usually does the trick. You can also go the old fashioned way by taking anti- anxiety medications like Topamax but I found the alternative way to be better for me. Ugh mine are so bad I'm sensitive to Flash Photography. If I were famous I would totally be one of those annoying celebrites that only wears sunglasses at night or request for photographers to use a filter to block the flash.

I'm on beta blockers for prevention (doesn't work all the time - but better than nothing) and Imitrex injections…the nasal spray had nasty side effects and when I get migraines I vomit so the pills never stay in my system long enough to do anything.
And the vertigo…eewwwwwwwww. The whole world spins.

its really not that rare actually- i get that too, and its incredibly debilitating, you can barely move and it feels like your head is exploding- light and sound are unbearable etc.

do your homework u fat slob! all u have to do is open up billboard and u can see EXACT ticket sales for shows! none of her shows are UNDER 50% capacity as u have stated. if youd just look into shit before u talk, u wouldnt always look like such an asshole.
I also have Vestibular Migraines and it is NO picnic. I think it is worse than having a migraine because you can't hold your balance. You feel the room is tilting and that at any moment, you might fall over. It is not good. I bet she had to have tons of testing. I had to have a cat scan, which did show an abnormality. I panicked. I had to have balance testing, and that is when they found the issue. It takes a while to figure out, since this is not a common form of migraine.
