Mark Ronson Sucks It
Tuesday night, The Avalon in Hollywood hosted a Welcome Home party for DJ A.M.. The evening, a benefit for the victims of last month's horrible plane crash, featured some of the hottest DJs spinning right now, including Cut Chemist, Mix Master Mike, Steve Aoki, Mom Jeans, and Mark Ronson.
One of our Perezcious readers was in attendance and sent us a rather scathing review of Ronson's set.
They say that while everyone else got the dance floor kicking, Mark Ronson slaughtered the floor with a snoozefest set. The DJ lazily "played one song after the other in their entireties."
It's a club! Not a radio station!
The reader goes on to say that not even the event's centerpiece, DJ A.M., paid attention.
Sounds like it was a total suck-set, if Mark is supposed to be better than his Lohan-loving sister.
Fortunately, the night had its better moments, with guest rapper will.i.am throwing some rhymes over Steve Aoki's beats.
Sounds hot!

The reason that Mark Ronson is so good is that he is a dope ass producer. He has produced HOT JOINTS for Amy Winehouse, Ghostface Killa, Lily Allen, just to name a few. Producers get much more respect in the industry than DJ's do. So he had a bad night. Whatevs!

when did dj's become celebrities? so lame. they're usually losers or former/current drug addicts who can't hold down real jobs.
