The Global Economy's Gone To Shit - World Leaders To Meet

At least action is being taken!
Everyone worldwide is trying to fix the global financial crisis.
Several leaders of the "Group of Eight" major industrial countries said Wednesday that they will meet in the near future in order to come up with strategies to deal with the current problems.
The eight countries consist of the United States, Britain, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, and Russia.
In a joint statement released by the White House, the leaders of G-8 said they would strengthen their financial institutions and would work on restoring confidence by meeting "at an appropriate time in the near future."
The G-8 nations will also include other key countries in their discussions. Aside from including the richest countries, they'll also include those with emerging economies, such as India and China.
The current goal is to draft "an agenda for reforms to meet the challenges of the 21st century."
Reports say the meeting could be as soon as November.
The sooner the better!
On Wednesday, Britain's Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, said "I believe there is scope for agreement in the next few days that we will have an international meeting to take common action … for very large and very radical changes."

The reason for the problem is that Bill Clinton thought every American should own a home, even if they couldn't afford it and passed into law a bill that pressured mortgage companies into allowing for easy loans. Now Democrats what to blame Bush for what the Democrat president did BEFORE Bush got into office.
Bill Clinton also balanced the economy by putting our military into near the dark ages and Bush had to throw money at them to fix the mess. Ah, but Bush won't get any positive credit because he isn't a great or even adequate orator.
Again, the mess that Bush is cleaning up was created by a Democrat President and you simply cannot UNDO laws easily. But again, the Democrats keep forgetting that the mess created was self-induced. Unfortunately the world followed suit with the mortgage stupidity and we have global collapse.
Also of note: Obama states that he is against gays marriage but believes in civil rights for gay couples. He then states that he is against the California amendment prop 8 promoting 1 male and 1 female as marriage. It seems like his senate record for voting present over a real decision, he does the same on this issue or for him a non-issue since he can't make a firm decision. I want a leader not someone that speaks well but says nothing and can't make a decision. Again, he has the senate record for voting "present" instead of "yea" or "nay." It's sick how he has duped so many because he is comfortable in front of a podium despite his record.
