McCain did a great job and asked Obama things that the people wanted to know.
I thought both did well. But I give the winning edge to Obama. He was calm, cool, and collected. McCain seemed a little edgy and a little nervous. But overall, they did a good job. Way better than the last 2 debates. And real questions were asked and answered. They actually discussed important issues. And now I think Obama will win in November. No doubts.
I think McCain's going senile. I wish Obama would have said to him, "act your age not your shoe size", that would have been priceless. He's such a crybaby.
I still don't understand why people would vote for a guy who wants to take money from those who work hard and give it the lazy. That is not the American way.

Mccain didn't go after Obama on a lot of the things he should have, by calling him out on certain issues, but its clear that Obama has no idea what he is going to do if he gets in and Mccain does. Not to mention that the tax breaks Obama talks about giving the people is great, but the tax hike on business's will cause corporations to fire people and hire less people, which will lead to companies going out of business,which will lead to unemployment, which will lead to people losing their homes, and soon becoming homeless. So Obama's plan will cut anyone under 200,000 a years taxes, but people making under 200,000 won't have to worry about taxes at all because under Obama they won't have a job so there won't be a check to take taxes out of. Corporations = jobs, jobs = money. Use your heads people.

Honestly, I do feel McCain won, and not because I am republican, but simply because I didn't believe Obama in his responses. So far this morning under "Ignorance" I've been called Stupid and as Ignorant as the people in the video. NOT ONCE in all that I have posted on this website have I EVER been disrespectful to anyone on here no matter what the difference in views. I have simply stated I don't believe in taxing the hell out of people who make over $250,000 a year to give to people who milk the system. Obviously not EVERYONE, and I make under that amount, milks the system, but I am aknolwedging the faulty systems we have.

it was not that McCain didn't do a decent job. I will give himthat, he did his best job yet in comparison to the other 2 debates. However, McCain can not keep his cool. Obama explained all his issues whether it wa health care, education, or abortion in a very clear and calm eloquent way. Even if you didn't/don't agree with him you knew what he was talking about and were at ease with his demeanor and tone. On the other hand there was McCain who was spastic and showed clear contempt for Obama in many part of the election (the picture above for example). I understand of course these candidates will disagree, but the contempt it in McCain is sad and unprofessional. Obama won on his respect and keeping his cool! You can not have the leader of the free world making faces like that and calling allies "that one!" if they don't agree with him!

McCain was an asshole last night, plain and simple. He was extremely rude to Obama, not only with his attacks, but his grimaces and eye rolls. Even when the moderator was talking to them, Obama was very attentive and gave him eye contact and McCain was looking around the room, writing, etc… Even when Obama spoke, McCain really didn't look at him. On the flip side, Obama gave McCain eye contact a majority of the time when McCain was talking. Overall, McCain was whiny, NEGATIVE, and completely lost the election for himself last night by being such a dick…. McCain's negative ads and comments have backfired on him on the campaign trail, and his negativity backfired at last night's debate. Polling shows that again, Obama was victorious. In order to win the election, McCain not only needs the 6 tossup states left, but also a couple states that are already heavily leaning towards Obama!!! There's no way he can do that after last night…

I work for a huge corporation, and now more than ever people have been laid off. If the economy is strong, there will be more jobs readily available. There are only a limited amount of people that make over $250k/year, and if your one of them, congratulations! But most regular people do not. So i support this, and i support ALOT of the things that Obama has put forward.

Obama is an orator, a public speaker. Actually look at his actions, not his flipping words. Obama holds the record for voting "present" the most times in the senate. That means he is incapable of making a decisive "yes" or "no" response. That is the man you want as president. Obama also stated that he believes marriage should be exclusively to a man and a woman but that he believes in legal rights for homosexuals. He also stated that he is against any amendment supporting marriage between a man and a woman. The guy has no balls and cannot even make up his mind about that issue. Again though, he is a dynamic public speaker. I want a President not a speaker. I want someone capable of making a decision. Obama has proved time and time again that he can't make a decision especially given his rank as record holder for voting present in the senate. Obama should be a professor and talk all day, but a President requires different qualifications that he doesn't have.
McCain did well, but Obama did better. McCain started off pretty good, but toward the end of the debate, he was just an angry old man. Obama took all of McCain's attacks and stayed COOL and on the defense. I thought his health care response was amazing.

And i also remember what it was like to not have healthcare for three years and all the debt I had left over from medical bills for stupid shit too. We're human beings and we all deserve to be treated when we're sick without the fear of years of debt. Our healthcare system sucks here!

That is such a naive comment to make. There are lazy people who are poor AND rich. I know a man who is the owner of a company and he doesn't do jack shit. He delegates ALL of his responsibilities to his workers. He barely even shows up to work, yet he makes WELL over 6 figures. How about those workers who shovel shit for a living and move Porta Potties!? I'm sure they get paid terribly. Or how about the workers at fast food restaurants!? Talk about a busy job. And they get paid what….$7 or 8 an hour? There are a LOT and LOT of people who work their asses off and still get paid crap. Yes, you're always going to have lazy people on both ends, but what Obama is saying is that these rich people can afford to pay higher taxes because they're already making an ungodly amount of money. On the other hand, the middle class is struggling right now and they can't afford more taxes. I think it's a completely reasonable, especially with how our current economy is. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer…. That's not right…

I know a lot of fine, sweet, mild mannered democrates. But a lot of the ones I know are also gruff, low class, trashy and go against everything they deparately try so hard to uphold. Perfect examples: Prez. He toots his horn all day long about how people should be treated equally and not discriminated against. Gay rights. Etc., etc. But he will turn right around and slam somebody for just being themselves because he just doesn't like them for some reason. Also, muscians. They go on and on about how everyone should be treated equally and not discriminated against because of their beliefs. But they will turn right around and demand a republican politican stop playing their music because they don't like their message. Republicans don't do things like that. And that is why, generally speaking, republicans tend to be fine, upstanding and responsible people, and democrates tend to be angry, classless, gruff people.

He votes for present a lot because he wants to be very specific about the fine lines… For example, he voted Present with voting against late-term abortions because there was no mention of women who's lives are at risk. Obama believes that if a woman's life is in danger, she should be able to have a late-term abortion. It has NOTHING to do with indecisiveness. All it means is that he's not going to vote for something if there are parts of it he does not agree with. I completely respect that.
