I'm by no means a big Star Trek fan, but JJ Abrams looks like he's gotten the casting spot-on for this movie. Quinto is perfect as Spock, Karl Urban looks great as Bones, and Simon Pegg is a perfect Scotty.

I don't know why, that guy really annoys me. I thought it was a stupid choice when I heard that Zachary "Sylar (sp?" Quinto was cast as Spock. My dread has been confirmed. He looks RIDICULOUS!!!

He was born to play this. However, this doesn't make up for JJAbrams' SLOPPY writing or making the cast all the same age — when it was very apparent in the original series that Chekov and Sulu were 10-12 years younger than everyone else. SLOPPY ABRAMS, YOU FREAKING HACK!

Sylar is pretty scary but I don't mind the actor that much. He looks weird in that pic. I've seen the other pictures and Chris Pine looks pretty hot as Kirk.
