Madonna's big gay backstabbing brother, Christopher Ciccone, says Kabbalah was the foundation of the marriage's dissolution.
Christopher, who recently penned a tell-all book about Madonna, says, "The Kabbalah sect, to which Madonna is completely devoted, played a large role in this marriage. It was based on it. And that is not enough on which to base a marriage and it couldn’t have survived."
He goes on to say that there is no way in hell Madonna and Guy can ever reconcile - their personalities are just too "ambitious" and "headstrong." He adds that he could never figure out what his sister saw in Guy, but that he was willing to be supportive regardless.
“But I always wanted to welcome those people whom Madonna let into her life. Whether it was Warren Beatty, Sean Penn or Carlos Leon."

Anyway, a divorce is always a difficult event and hopefully, both parties can come out relatively unscathed here. I say "hopefully", because the chances are that all their dirty laundry is going to be aired (and some of it already has been) and that's not helpful for anybody.
Madonna– dark, sad soul– never liked her except when I was 13 and she sang that song "Starlight, Starbright, Make everything alright… dah dah.." I've been reading alot of stuff on the net as this seems to be the biggest headline of the year. In Christophers book interviews that we have possibly viewed on TV/Youtube he says, 'he doubts that Madonna and Guy would ever split'. (well something along those lines) Is Madonna trying to prove her brother wrong, just because he said it would never happen? I wonder. Madonna made a transformation (so it seemed) through the beginnings of Ray of Light, some of American Life tracks, the childrens books, the vioce over for an animation film…she seemed softer and content with life with husband and children and ready to take on a new role…but as of recent she does seem more self-centered then ever before. She's caught the ME-ISM disease full-on. Remember when she put out the Erotica album? Then came 'Sex', then 'Body of Evidence' and she just went sex crazed over-kill? She's doing it again. This time it's 'H&M', 'HARD CANDY', 2 films, a World tour, adoption, Raising Malawi, a book her brother wrote (I question the possibility of her ghost writing it now). She's 50 amazingly fit and looking great. BUT - she's freaking out. Menopause, growing old, the curse of growing old is sneaking up on her (all of us) I feel bad for the woman. She needs to calm down. Divorce if she must and then go and hide for a bit. - Otherwise she's headed for a breakdown. I believe it. I'm still a big fan, yet I do shake my head too. I think Madonna hit her panic button.

I took the time to read the book. Except for pointing out her control issues and her "the world revolves around me" problem, it did not seem at all false. You only have to watch "Truth or Dare" to see that. He just gave us a little more detail. He also told a little about her romances. He actually made her sound pretty phenom, but come on, you know she is a "control freak". I actually sympathize with anyone who stands in her shadow. Except for Britney Spears and "The Hills" Celebutards, I can think of no one else who thrives on media output more.

She was far from the best singer of her generation but she was probably among the most savvy and certainly the most willing to exploit every opportunity and being as provocative as she possibly could. Why shouldn't her brother who has so little money in comparison to her make a bit off his life story, even if it's only interesting because he's her bother? She dropped him after her marriage, which isn't an act of sisterly love. Why should he be held to a standard she ignores? It doesn't sound like he came up with anything shocking or horrible. No one was surprised by anything he said. I plan to get a copy someday.

If you look at the cover of the book 'Life With My Sister Madonna'. It almost looks like the font on the cover could be Madonna's handwriting. I'm not a handwriting expert or anything, but if yoy look at Madonna's signature and then the font on the cover of that book, the seem similar. You'd have to do some research and investigate it if you care too, but I found it interesting.
