"The Compassion House Foundation was established in 1998 with the vision to build a facility supporting women with breast cancer from Northern Alberta during diagnosis, treatment and the early stages of recovery.

In early 2001, the Key to Compassion Capital Campaign was launched. With the generous support of the Edmonton community, and donors across the province, the facility was under construction by September of that year.

Today we operate a bright and spacious home named Sorrentino's Compassion House in recognition of the Capital Campaign support of the Sorrentino's Restaurant Group and the Saccomanno and Rago families.

Since we first opened our doors in September 2002, we have provided a warm and supportive home away from home for close to 300 women with breast cancer and their families. We have welcomed guests from over 55 different communities in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.

Sorrentino's Compassion House is supported by the Compassion House Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization. Our mission is to provide sanctuary and support to women with breast cancer within and beyond our four walls. The Foundation relies on donations to operate Sorrentino's Compassion House."

Damn, I know it has been said; but enough with the pointless comments, enough with the "firsts" and the damn smily faces. You idiots don't even read the story before you comment.
You are also showing everyone else that you have nothing better to do than refresh Perez's page all day. That is pathetic, and most people online would, and do, have sympathy for you. However, that is not enough to overcome our hate for your pointless comments.

    Re: ppppmmmm

Consider my 12 year old standing in the corner for the rest of the afternoon…I had the damned thing standing open while I got up to get a cup of coffee and she decided to post. That will teach me to A-walk away from my computer with this open while she is home sick from school and B-to realize that she would be such a moron to even think to post something on this site in the first place. Now if I could just get away with spanking her, I would be a happy camper. Now, can anyone tell me if there's a way to edit off a post that is written I would be more than happy to get rid of it because quite frankly it offends me too.

Re: kymberlee42Re: ppppmmmm – It is a meaningless, pointless and highly offensive site. You would be wrong for expecting anything else here.

Being from Edmonton myself I love seeing causes like this get the credit they deserve, thank you Perez. Now I just wish people who post would also give it credit and not joke.
