The funny lady just performed in the British capital and she got scathing reviews.

This woman is very overrated. The material she used was recycled from her DVDs and she 'performed' for just 45 minutes and charged 45quid ($90) for the privilege! So yeah, people are pissed, it's a rip off. She treated the audience with little respect and arrogantly flounced off after she was heckled (for a crap set). Go back and get some new jokes.

Hey, I like Sarah Silverman, she says what other comedians wouldn't dare. And as for the Londoners not liking her shows, well there's one very good reason for that…they are miserable gits. Put Tim fucking Lovejoy on a stage on London he'll have them rolling around on the floor laughing even if he's bloody annoying and very unfunny. Sarah should come oop north. Liverpool audiences are witty and clever and probably make the best audiences for comedians. And I'm not being biased because I'm from Liverpool, its proven fact. Sarah would be found more hilarious in the North.

I resent the bad teeth comment. I have perfectly straight teeth. The idea that British people have bad teeth is a misconception… If she can't pull off the show then she should expect people to be angry. I would be pee'd off if I spent £45 on a show that lasted less than an hour. I saw Kylie at the 02 Arena in London for £10 less than that and she was on far longer and was amazing. I am seeing Pam Ann in November and her tickets were cheaper and she is at the Apollo too. I have never really sat and watched Sarah Silverman, aside from the Matt Damon song which wasn't overly funny to me. She just needs a bit more practise when it comes to live performances

I don't think it was the ticket prices….I think it is because she is an obnoxious asshole.
People say she says things that other comedians wouldn't say and is controversial but in England our level of censorship is much lower so what she says ISN'T controversial.
She acts like people would be shocked but I find her contrived and pathetic. She obviously has a vastly over inflated view of herself and you can tell everything is a 'set up' even when she was being interviewed on Jonathan Ross it was all made up. At one point Jonathan said he had a present for her to which she lifted her arse into the air towards him as if he was going to take her from behind. That's just embarassing!! She looked like a dick. If she'd just been herself she may have been better received
I was there last night! It was all going good until the end! OMG I felt so bad for her, it was like watching a car wreck! People were expecting an encore, but come on! It's not a fucking rock concert! YES, it was short and expensive, but she was still fucking funny!
I wish now America would take the hint. I don't even know why they call Sarah Silverman funny; she's lame as hell. Her show on TV is the most ridiculous show I've ever seen, aside from the short-lived Geico "Cavemen" show. I guess it's cause she's a Jew, and her family has ties to the show business industry.
I was actually at the show and it cost me £48 for the ticket ($100) and she was on for only 40 minutes. Her material was old stuff from her tv show and there was no suport act to bulk it out. We also had to wait 2 hours before we were let inside due to "technical difficulties". In saying all that, when she was on, she was funny. It just wasn't long enough and to pricey. She'd have been better playing several smaller venues for less money.
I don't like her either…SO hideous and unfunny.

She totally sucks. I have watched her "comedy" show a few times on Comedy Central and find it painful to watch (and I love things like South Park which really push the limit). She is not a funny women and I had paid 40 something pound sterling I would be pissed as well. Fuck her.

Her show is a goddamn rip off. I paid $60 to see her in Orlando, and she was on stage for about 35-40 minutes. She wasn't funny at all and she basically just kind of lounged around on stage for awhile and then left. I feel bad for the Brits — her show may be funny, but she's a big douche.

I went to the show - it was good, but reaaaaaally short. And when she came on for an unplanned encore, because no one was leaving (it was really short) she couldn't even remember her own song when someone asked her to play it. Then she walked off stage without giving us a last laugh…..

Well, Im English, I love her! On Jonathan Ross she started a bit quiet and unsure, I think she was concerned that she had to be polite and demure, but as soon as she realised she could swear on TV here, she was well away!

P.S. - One of the reasons they werent happy is that she wasnt on stage 50 minutes, which isnt the norm for a comedy show here, Id not be happy paying £50/$100 for less than an hours show, would you?
