Terrence Howard Got Totally Dissed By Iron Man - He Finally Reacts!

Terrence Howard sat down with the folks at NPR recently and one of the topics that came up was his 'firing' from Iron Man.
We kinda feel bad for the guy cuz - according to him - it looks like the Iron Man people screwed him over.
Then again, he is probably might be lying!
Says Howard:
Howard: It was the surprise of a lifetime. There was no explanation. [The contract] just…up and vanished. I read something in the trades implicating that it was about money or something, but apparently the contracts that we write and sign aren't worth the paper that they're printed on, sometimes. Promises aren't kept, and good faith negotiations aren't always held up.
Wonder how Don Cheadle feels about this.
If it happened to T., it could easily happen to Don, right?

Don Cheadle will not be as great as Terrence Howard in the role of Rhodey. Terrence and RDJ had awesome chemistry…..I just don't see it in Cheadle.
Both Don and Terrence are brilliant actors. I don't really see why they are replacing Terrence. He was great in Iron Man I can always see he works hard at making his characters different. Plus he is such a beautiful man, way more attractive than Don. But it's probably not going to bother me because I don't really know if I will watch the sequel anyway. On a good note, it leaves Terrence more time to work on a better film.
Interesting. If the producers broke a contract there'd be a lawsuit. OTOH, there should be a clause in the contract that, if for any reason, they decide to end his involvement they have to pay him. Now. I'm assuming that Terrence got paid or there would definitely be a lawsuit filed ASAP against the producers. You can believe there will be some kind of compensation. Cash settlement. And it will be in the millions. Like maybe $5M. I'd bet that Robert Downey jr. didn't want him. Robert was key to Iron Man's success. Terrence says ome ridiculous stuff. THey need to muzzle him. Maybe all his success has made him "difficult." Wonder how much Cheadle will cost the movie?
well, if he signed a contract, he can sue, only there's a clause in there saying they can dump him with no reason.
Jesus Christ I hate it when they up and change a character and we're not supposed to notice or care? Like Katie Holmes in the Dark Knight? I mean just one of many examples, but Don Cheadle sucks balls and this movie is gonna suck hairy balls. I heard that interview too, his voice sounded super sexy!
I haven't seen Iron Man yet, but this move still kind of baffles me. And Cheadle in a comic book movie? I heard IM was kind of dry, but still . . . Don Cheadle??? I don't get it. Maybe Robert Downey Jr whined and bitched about Howard and him not getting along or something *shrug* Don is known for being a nice guy, and Howard . . . isn't.
P'raps Terrence didn't play politics well.
I love Don Cheadle, but I tho't Howard was perfect in the role and easier on the eyes. But for a lot of people, Blacks are interchangeable which is a shame.
I really like TH, but he seems too cocky. You never know. I also like DC though.
Not to spread gossip on the internet *shock* but I've read several accounts on the web of Mr. Howard that depicted him as…. shall we say, eccentric?
Personally I like Don Cheadle better.
Cheadle would do a better job. I did not really care for Howard in Iron Man. His character really had no chemistry with Robert. And I can imagine Howard in An Iron man suit esp with that wispy voice of his.
Why don't they want Terrence back? Not that I have anything against Don but WTF? Sure, switch the black guy, the audience won't notice…damn Hollywood.

If this is true & a finalized contract was violated either by Paramount or Marvel; can't he sue??? If he didn't show up to film the movie, you can guarentee he would be sued. If he brings a lawsuit, I believe then that he was fired & didn't quit diva-style.
He doesnt seem like he would make up a lie like this but why they would replace him?

I like Don but he is not hot like Terrence. Don looks like a baboon.
Terrence needs to be put back on this project. Don can make some more serious film.
