      Apple has always taken a lot of heat from the press through the years because there's a lot of jealousy in the industry over two "hippies" who made it big. However, Apple is a good, solid company who knows it's target audience and knows it's product very well. Apple has weathered every downturn in the economy when others have gone under by knowing when to tighten it's belt before it's too late. Apple will always be the leader in the industry because of it's innovative, creative employees and it's leadership. I'm not an Apple employee (wish I was) but I do know good products when I see them. I will continue to buy Apple products when they come out because they haven't let me down yet. And of course I wish them continued success. They deserve it.

      I finally got rid of my Gateway
      computer and got a MAC desktop
      to work on my website and the difference
      is like night and day!
      APPLE rocks, this machine runs like a dream!
      .

      I took it out of the box and thought something
      was missing.
      There was a flat screen and a keyboard, no big
      heavy box with the fan and the computer junk in it.
      I found out, it was all built into the flat screen,
      even the speakers!
      No whirring fan or bulky box!
      No freeze ups, almost instant on, no virus
      every two days!
      APPLE products rock!

      one of the reasons the economy is in the crapper is BECAUSE of things like APPLE! People buy stuff (houses, electronics) that they CANNOT pay for but use credit schemes to own. PAY YOUR BILLS and stop blaming the government. It isn't the fault of businesses that YOU have misused credit. Stop buying more crap you don't need and don't buy what you can't afford.

      Re: Cherry Bomb – You contradicted yourself. First you said it was because of Apple. Then you said it wasn't the fault of businesses. Which is it? No one forces anyone to buy things they can't afford. It's up to each person to choose how to spend their money and be responsible about it. If you can't afford something that you don't need then don't buy it until you can. Simple. Don't go blaming Apple for the economy being in the crapper just because some people are irresponsible. That's just dumb.

      i see all these comments applauding apple for their success..and calling them "hippies" and whatnot doesn't make shit more cuddly..seriously..the iphones suck..they get slow after a few months..apple was started by two good people..and now since the success of there ipod..they've turned into money hungry greedy bastards..as well as all the other corporations..a lot of my friends who own ipods paid for insurance for there shit because it breaks down in about two years..you buy something from apple theres a newer "cooler" more "cutting edge" version like 6 months later..it pisses people off man..and then when you buy a lap top or a computer you have to buy certain programs apart..because they dont come with apple computers.."user-friendly" my ass..each program is like 200 bucks a pop..if that's not greed then tell me what is?
