If parents are THAT upset about the values the schools teach, they should home school or enroll their child in a private one that reflects their values.
The thing about getting a "free" public education is that you're giving up your rights to teach your child what YOU want her/him to learn and giving the schools that choice.
This is absurd and such proof that we all need to do our part in the process and vote. As a Florida resident, I can't wait to get my ballot and vote hell-to-the-no on Amendment 2!

not only does it treat gays like second class citizens with no rights, it pretty much does the same thing for domestic partnerships of the opposite sex too. so even people who wouldnt necessarily be up in arms about the general gay bashing tone of the amendment, should be a little pissed off.
