I knew about this like a week or so ago they said they were slashing prices lol…Youre gonna end up being able to prepare a meal with less than 2 dollars instead of the previous 3 jk..I didnt hear the story just caught the briefing. Oh well the one by my house wont close so I dont care.
…well, Dollar stores here are staying in business. If they had only charged a penny more! "Save my pennies for a rainy day"….nah.

99 cent only stores are VERY different from that crappy "Dollar General Store".
I am sooooo upset to hear this, I figured they would be seeing an oncrease in business. I suspect that they have a very, very low margin and their operation costs are killing them.
Very, very sad.

My cousin works for the 99 cent corp and he said they aren't going out of business, what it is is 99 cent corp has two businesses Bargin something and the 99 cent stores, they can't afford to keep the Bargin store open so what they are going to do is kind of merge the two. They are still going to have stuff from 99 cents but they are going to have other cheap stuff there too.

48 Stores are closing. These are all the Texas stores, they are leaving the state.
Well if they had them in major metropolitan areas where people could get to them, they might have done better and not be going out of business. I've never EVER seen that named store out here!!!!
But I did see them all over in California when I was out that way.
We do have Family Dollar and some other store but they sell mostly $5 items and up. There are 2 actually Dollar Tree stores that I have seen.
But never a 99 cent only store.
99 cent stores suck, i'm glad they're closing they never have anything good, and there's always like 25 on one block, because everyone needs 25 99 cent stores in one neighborhood. .
