Researchers have found that a drug originally developed to treat leukaemia can halt and even reverse the debilitating effects of multiple sclerosis (MS).

Yay!!!!!

      Thanks for the link, as a young person with MS it's good to read positive research.

      But…….if you read the New England Journal of Medicine article, you'll see that although results are good in the preliminary group, side effects were not studied and people even died as a result of the drug…………

      my aunt passed away in april from MS. it was painful to see her go through all of what she did.

      I am so happy you post stuff like this. Not only for MS but for ALS, Lupus.etc. This is great. I was diagnosed w/MS just over a year ago. Giving yourself injections 3 times a week is no fun anymore. Great news. Let's hope it the FDA welcomes it.

      Micheal J. Fox has Parkinson's Disease. This Disease is so horrible. It is incredible pain, you can eventually lose the ability to talk, move your body at all and it slowly disfigures you. This is a miracle!!! I pray that it works for all those affected.

      My mother has had a very severe case of MS since I was very young. Although I think she is beyond repair, I hope this means that no one else will have to go through what I went through.
