Yes gay marriage is a right in California. It was voted on by the California supreme court and gay people have been getting legally married in California since this summer. Proposition 8 is an attempt to remove this right by ammending the state constitution.

If Prop 8 passes, all the ultra-wealthy stars and producers and directors should move their private residences outstate and take their taxes with them.
I wish all 'our people' would go on strike for a month. Broadway, Movies, Fashion, Airlines would all have to shut down. I mean in the 60's African Americans had to do things like that to get their rights. We just complain and accept.
