Big d'OH in OH
More cutbacks!
Chrysler has confirmed that as of December 31st, it will lay off 825 workers.
All the employees come from the car company's Toledo North Assembly Plant.
Currently, there are 2,100 workers at that location. Almost half are soon going.
So sad.

happy new year.
your fired.
What would I do without my daily reminder of how fucked we all are..
No Dodge in my garage.
Re: && I got a thing for you! – Last night was great, I hope it didn't too many stitches?
Well you can thank the people that started this mess, and i am not just talking about the bankers or the fat cats on wall street
Yup they're outsourcing to Haiti because it's cheaper to make stuff.
That plus the metal they use is from the homes of the workers. Cheaper workers and cheaper materials.
If you Vote For Obama…then you will see more cutbacks… He wants to increase corporate taxes… Some of the outcomes: higher prices, more employee cutbacks, less working force, less sales…If a company has to pay higher taxes then they either stick it in their prices which would probably decrease sales or they lay off….simple as that… it's a loose loose situation
next.
If Ohio doesn't get it together and vote for Obama, then they can just blame themselves. Bush ecomonics got them in this mess and McCain's policies are no different. Hear that, Joe the unliscensed plumber??
Perez - You're posts have really BLOWN this past week. Stop eating Teddys asshole and get to work. Loser. I'm bored.

yikes.
Maybe people would buy their cars if they made any that were worth a shit.
American car makers didn't have such a problem in the 60s and 70s. They should go back to making them like they used to.
Re: && I got a thing for you! – lol
Re: && I got a thing for you! – Re: mama of 2 – I smell a 3 way!
I'm from Toledo and this is very bad news for our economy. Everybody around here knows someone (or someones) who work for Jeep. Toledo can thank themselves for this, this town is strongly Democrat and a big union town, and our economy is showing the results of this. If Obama gets elected this town will be a ghost town.
McCain/Palin "Country First"
This is bad! Everyday a new thing. When will this crap stop. Is there any good news? I feel for those people! Happy Freakin New Year! Wow!
Re: Big Black Dick – Does it smell like Taco Bell and Valtrexxx lmfao.. that shit still kills me
Gosh, another reason to love living in Ohio. Just goes to show Ohio is still a manufacturing economy and needs to get up with the times!!!
Re: Mr. Furley – You know, it's funny to see that you are complaining about unions, like the democrats invented them. In the latest interview with McCain and Palin done by Brian Williams on NBC Evening News, McCain said that part of Palin's experience was that she was in a union.
Good job.
Re: Mr. Furley – Sorry to hear that!!! VOTE McCain/Palin 08'
Re: && I got a thing for you! – Pass the Valtrex, please.
More cutbacks are coming, because corporations are opening up that they are preparing for an Obama victory with more taxes on corporations. So be prepared- you think the economy and jobs are bad now, just wait if he is elected. Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank are already talking about spending spending spending. How and where do you think they are going to get that money? Taxes. And on corporations that employ people. Big corporations are preparing for it now, and by laying people off now. So don't act surprised.
Yet Obama insists that he wants to toss a few bucks to the poor and not give tax breaks to businesses that could actually employ more people with those credits. One methods gives the man a fish, the other teaches the man how to fish.
Re: Porcelina – We just might be the only 2 with a brain on here.
