Looks like Martha Stewart isn't too happy with the new co-CEO of her company, Wenda Harris Millard.
Millard was named co-CEO of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia back in June. And, according to multiple sources, the two aren't seeing eye-to-eye on several operational issues.
A source close to Millard tells the NY Post, "It's no secret that Martha isn't the easiest person to work for. It wouldn't be the end of the world if [Millard] were to leave."
Sources add that Martha is too controlling while Millard is described as being too quick to delegate responsibilities and appears less sure of herself as CEO.
Another source says, "Martha likes to roll up her sleeves and get her hands dirty; Wenda doesn't."
So why did they hire Millard again?
It seems that after Susan Lyne stepped down as president and CEO back in June, Millard was named co-CEO along with Robin Marino.
In a recent interview, Millard acknowledges there have been some "healthy debates" but adds that, "I've worked with Martha in some capacity for more than four years, and I deeply admire and respect her. We've made enormous strides together and I'm looking forward to more great things to come."
Somehow we doubt Martha won't get her way in the end.
Millard better shape up or get out.
