Lily Allen managed to tear herself away from pAArtying and actually found time to record her sophomore album. The record doesn't come out until early next year, but the single has just dropped and….
We're not quite sure how much of a "comeback" Lily will have with it.
Everyone's At It is a good song. A solid first base hit. But definitely not a home run.
We really like the verses - the lyrics are great - but the chorus is lacking. And everyone knows the hook is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of a great pop song.

I love Lily Allen.
This song is not too bad, but by far not her best. I like that song F-u very much it's my fav Lil Allen song now. I like her alot actually she has never disappointed as far as songs.

I really like it. She has that honey quality in her voice that sounds so fresh and easy -kinda Feist-ish, but it's distinctly hers.
The beginning sounds like a bit of a rip off of Atlantis To Interzone by the Klaxons. At least that's what it reminds me of..

Not bad! But I really liked the ska inspired stuff on her last album, hope she includes some in this album.

But the best songs don't even have choruses because they're based on actually making good music, not just having a catchy (and extremely annoying) chorus. You dumb fuck.

I agree with Perez, the chorus of this song needs help. In its current form there is no variation from verse to chorus in the melody line. If it were to kick it up to something similar to the chorus starting point in Since You've Been Gone to get the necessary variation and tie it into the instrumental line at the end of the chorus. That really isn't her style though, so I can't see it happening. Its a good experimental idea for a song, but needs more work.

i loved it to begin with but perez u r finally right about somethign to do with music… the chorus IS lacking it need more of a POP or a BANG of some sort….
Perez - if youre gonna be a producer, this here is your first lesson. A pop song sung with a British accent that is talking about cocaine binges set to a g.a.y bumping chorus will go to number one. Why, cos its cocky, fresh and new. She is discussing something most are too afraid to tackle in the pop world - but unfortunately others will turn it into a promotion of partying… listen carefully and you can see the lyrics can be taken both ways - giving in to party ways or quiting them… if it dont make No 1 US ill give you my Dr Pepper…
Well I love her voice and the song has a really good background beat but, Perez is right the chorus is the most importent part of the song, that's what makes it catchy and ppl remember it. This song just doesn't have anything that is catchy about it. It's a song that's easy to forget.

Well, I'm a die-hard Lily Allen fan so pretty much anything she comes out with will be good in my books. It's not as catchy as her other songs but I like the direction she's going in! I can't wait for this album. …I'll actually pay for her music. *cough* :]
