Nicole Richie showed up at The Breeders Cup Winners Circle Charity Event at the New Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood on Thursday.
And well, we're not sure what to make of her.
Richie went wearing a short green, cowl-neck dress, with an ivory and black cardigan.

I think she looks like a normal person at a regular, normal event and not some glammed up Hollywood celebrity. Cut her some slack. She's a mom now and her focus is on her baby, which is where it should be. She's one of the few celebs who have figured that out. She's not into the photo op crap anymore and I say good for her. She looks good ~ happy, and healthy ~ far better than she used to look before she became a mom.

the problem with this woman is that she has a tendancy to get really skinny. which as we know is very unhealthy. an unhealthy mother isnt a mother at her best. so looking at this beautiful girl, I see that she is not too skinny so Im gonna say I love her look! if shes happy and healthy, then we can surmise that her child is also happy and healthy and that is what concerns us about her now that shes a mother isnt it? We all want a happy and healthy child.

I actually think the dress is cute. It's a horsey event right so IMO ok to be a little more casual and the color gives it a nice natural feel.

Well, now that she's put her anorexic coke whore days behind her, I think she's doing pretty well for herself. And I applaud the fact that she took a risk and wore something different, as opposed to being boring and trying to look like everyone else.
