Police Called To Former Knicks President's Home For Overdose

Police were called to the New York home of former Knicks president Isiah Thomas early Friday morning for what might have been an overdose on sleeping pills.
Authorities arrived shortly after midnight, but no further details have been released apart from the fact that Thomas is fine.
Thomas was fired from the Knicks in April after a seven season losing streak and a troubled year riddled with sexual harassment, feuds, and fans chanting to "Fire Isiah!" at games.
Suicide is never the answer, y'all.
And neither is violence!
Update: Isaiah is denying he attempted suicide.

live in NYC…this was on the 11 o'clock new last nite…they said it wasn't intentional…but i guess you never know!

I like the way the Knicks and the press put the 'accidental' spin on this. I've taken Lunesta and Ambien at different times. A half pill will zonk me out. Okay, Thomas is taller than me…so perhaps he needed more. But 10 pills is a cry for help — not an accident!
