The Support for Jennifer Hudson Pours In

As the search continues for her nephew….
Presidential candidate Barack Obama issued the following statement regarding Jennifer Hudson's tragic loss:
"Michelle and I were absolutely heartbroken to learn about this unimaginable tragedy and we want Jennifer to know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. We also pray for the swift and safe return of her young nephew."
The Obamas had requested that their fellow Chicagoan, Jennifer, sing the national anthem at the Democratic National convention earlier this year.
Jennifer was also in the thoughts and prayers of her fellow American Idol Season 3 contestants.
Diana DeGarmo, who finished second that season, told Access Hollywood, "I was completely shocked and stunned when I heard about this tragedy. I know how important Jennifer’s mother and brother were to her, especially because her father was never in the picture. They were so nice and so pleasant. Jennifer always spoke about her mom, how close they were and how much of a ‘big sister’ role her mom played in her life. I can’t imagine what she is going through. I hope everybody gives Jennifer her space to deal with this because I know how much they will be missed by her. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jennifer and we are here for you.”
Former contestant Camile Velasco said Jennifer's mom was a wonderful woman and expressed extreme shock, like us all, “This news caught me off guard. I met Jennifer’s mom when she came to the set in L.A. and I also went to Jennifer’s home on the South Side of Chicago during the ‘American Idol’ tour and spent time with her mom. She was a great lady, real sweet and a great supporter of Jennifer’s who was happy and glad for her daughter’s success. Jennifer has great faith in God and is loved by so many so I hope that will get her through this ordeal. She has my love and support and I am here for her if she needs me.”
In other related news, the FBI has joined in the search for Jennifer's 7-year old nephew, Julian. As y'all know, he disappeared after the Hudson family slayings.
Our thoughts and prayers are also with the Hudson family.

Re: PrinceD –
Princess D, learn to spell! Keep your racist comments in the crime ridden ghetto where they belong! We all now know that this boy was murdered by a degenerate black man. But of course, this degenerate man's life will now be the fault of George Bush and John McCain. Next you will be spitting that the Republicans made this man a murderer. It's the white folks fault that stupid ghetto girls get knocked up and live off welfare while daddy-o never takes responsibility. Nor why should he! He is making too much money selling drugs and being part of a degenerate gang. Take responsibility for the sick morals of the black community and stop the murders!
They found Julian a couple blocks from my house this morning. I attended a prayer vigil they had for him this evening over on 13th and Kolin. Such a tragedy! They said Jennifer is the one who identified all three bodies, although she and six relatives viewed Julian's face on a closed-circuit TV today instead of the actual body itself. I'm glad they allowed that as I cannot imagine her having to see yet another one deceased. She was the one who said, "Yes, that is him" when shown the picture. Here is a quote from our local newspaper:
Holding on to each other, overcome by emotion, Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson and six relatives viewed a closed-circuit TV screen at the morgue this afternoon and identified a small boy as Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew Julian King.
“Jennifer Hudson was incredbly strong for her family, she was leader in that group and kept her composure. “She felt like the Lord and saviour Jesus Christ was going to get her through that,” Howard added. “Those were her words.”
It was nice to see the community coming together again to offer prayer and support tonight where they found Julian. I just cannot imagine what she is going through at this time. My heart aches for her and her family.
Please lift her up in your prayers. She's going to need all the strength she can get during this horrible, horrible time in her life, as well as the other affected by the deaths of the other victims.
