Robert Pattinson was snapped taking a smoke break while recently promoting Twilight in Mexico.

He's not a vampire in real life, though. R-Patz won't live forever.

Especially if he continues to smoke!

      He must be getting worn out from all the attention and drama, but I read somewhere that he did it to pass the time when he was bored.

      I was a heavy smoker for 15 years. Then, one random day, I decided that I wasn't going to do it anymore and quit. I'm in perfect health now and have since had many medical tests perfomed on my lungs to rule out any problems. I guess what I'm saying is that Rob will quit when he's ready to. No worries, Mr. Pattinson, your smoking doesn't discourage my love of your work. We all have our vices. Also, there are much worse things he could be dong in an effort to cope with the distressing elements of the overwhelming attention he's now receiving. You're not a bad person if you use cigarettes to cope with stress, but I hope that he will quit before it gets the best of him…

      I love reading your stuff Perez…..but jeezus, will you lay off people for smoking!?! It is a bit ridiculous. Before your weight loss, how would you like it if everytime you were spotted taking a bite of something unhealthy someone posted your pic talking about how gross it was and that you were killing yourself???? Smoking is a filthy habit but it is just that, A HABIT! Everyone who smokes knows it's bad for you….and they either don't care, or they CAN"T QUIT….IT'S AN ADDICTION!! At least he's not shooting up heroin or drunk driving. We get it, you don't like smoking, now give it a rest, man!

      Well, he is from England. and I have it on good authority that like everyone over there smokes. It is a bad habit and I don't agree with it, but I'm not that shocked.
