Las Vegas must be hard-up for new talent.
The Mormon duo of Donny and Marie Osmond are extending their variety show at the Flamingo Las Vegas.
They've been booked for another two more years.
The show just opened September 9th and already they've gotten their contract extended?
Even the Flamingo's president Don Marrandino spoke about the show and the success of the brother-and-sister 90 minute greatest-hits show.
The two will continue performing at the Flamingo Showroom all the way through October 2010.
Are they giving tickets away for free?
Who would actually pay to go see these two?

Look if somebody votes no on Prop 8 it's most likely not because they hate gays, but because they have certain beliefs of what marriage is. A lot of older people LOVE Donnie and Marie because they were extremely popular in their day and half the people that hit up vegas are middle aged and up. Don't hate on Mormans because of their belief in the religious sanctity of marriage. Hate on a government that doesn't give the same allowances to any couple in a committed relationship.

I fully support Proposition 8. But because we(mormons) do, it doesn't mean that we hate gay people. It does not mean that we are homophobes, bigots, ignorant people, or any other negative name or gesture that has been thrown at us. We believe that gay people should be treated with the same respect and courtesy that all human beings deserve.
We are all for equal rights, but in the case of granting marriage rights to same-sex couples, it's not equal. What about my First Amendment right of religious freedom?? What about my parental rights?? As a mother, it is my parental right, my sacred duty, to teach my children correct principles, NOT California schools, on matters of marriage.

Okay. First, I was raised Mormon. I am from Utah. I am no longer Mormon for various reasons. I hate the whole big thing and label that everyone has on us.
