Sexy Sarah and Elizabitch Speak On Palin's Wardrobe Scandal! Charge Sexism
Filed under: Politik > Elizabitch Hasselbeck > Sarah Palin
Sarah Palin has been reluctant to discuss the $150,000 spent on her wardrobe by the McCain campaign, after the news broke last week.
But, leave it up to Elisabeth Hasselbeck to talk about it!
When will Elizabitch learn that idiots shouldn't speak out in public?
Sunday, at a rally in the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimee, Florida, the possible soon-to-be former View host introduced Palin.
And, in her introduction, she took it upon herself to discuss things the Republican party has decided to stay quiet about.
Hasselbeck said, "Instead of the issues, they are focused, fixated, on her wardrobe. Now, with everything going on in the world it seems a bit odd. But let me tell you, this is deliberately sexist."
Sorry, how is this sexist?????
If Michelle Obama spent over $100k, it would make national news.
Would that be racist????
But, more importantly, if John McCain or Barack Obama spent $150,000 on suits and ties etc, you better believe it would cause headlines too!
It's not sexist, Bitchy Boo. It's about WASTING campaign donations on unnecessary things.
But Hasselbeck's comments were great, because it allowed Palin to veer off the script and comment herself!
Palin said, "This whole thing with the wardrobe, you know I have tried to just ignore it because it is so ridiculous, but I am glad now that Elisabeth brought it up, cause it gives me an opportunity without the filter of the media to get to tell you the whole clothes thing."
Soooooo….????
She sais, "Those clothes, they are not my property. Just like the lighting and the staging and everything else that the RNC purchased, I'm not taking them with me. I am back to wearing my own clothes from my favorite consignment shop in Anchorage, Alaska."
And then said, "You'd think — not that I would even have to address the issue because, as Elisabeth is suggesting, the double standard here it's — gosh, we don't even want to waste our time."
Gosh, we Loves it!
So do U think it's ridiculous and sexist that Palin is being called out for spending $150,000 on clothes?????

Yes, I do think it's sexist. It's just another distraction away from the important issues.
First!! poor people don't say consignment, we say thrift store!…way to reach out to your public sexi sarah!
Obama is a Marxist.

Who cares.
THEY ARE TWO FUCKING CLOSET RACIST HOMOPHOBIC UPTIGHT WHITE BITCHES AND DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING OUTSIDE THE BUBBLE THEY HAVE LIVED IN THEIR ENTIRE LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you ever try to put lipstick on a pig? it ain't easy
Re: poopdiddy2008 – IDIOT!
oh gosh, I hate them both
Re: Cletus Fucktard – LOL!
It's sexist for women to be held to a different standard of appearance than men in the first place.
these two ladies would actually make a hot couple…
Their not her property, like she said. Celebrities rent jewelry all the time.

I HAVEN'T SEEN SO MANY SKANK WHORES ON A STAGE
SINCE THE LAST "SPICE GIRLS" CONCERT!!!

I really do think there are a lot of more important things to discuss than Palin's clothing and make-up. Only my personal feelings, nothing more.
first…whatever!
The attacks on Sarah Palin have nothing to do with sexism. When Democrat John Edwards had a $400 haircut, that resulted in a two-month round-the-clock talk-fest by the Right-Wing Media Noise Machine. But when the RNC gives Sarah Palin $150,000 of its contributors' money so that this "Joe Six-Pack hockey mom" can buy a huge new designer wardrobe at Fifth Avenue's priciest stores, then criticizing that is sexism? This talk of "sexism" in the media's treatment of Sarah Palin is a bunch of crap. It's nothing more than a Right-Wing "Talking Point".
Perez: The only reason you are a liberal democrat is because you are gay-period! that is your only agenda. Can you please go to Cuba & mysteriously "disappear"…Pretty please?
Re: LettyB – #5
THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL DARLING!
These bitches need to be PUNCHED IN THE FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its ridiculous because i know that michelle obama actually does spend alot of money on her clothes but hum why is that never talked about?! i think it crazy how badly the media want Obama to win, they seriously are doing anything to sway voters. But lets face it the media will always be liberals
"Sarah Palin has been reluctant to discuss the $150,000 spent on her wardrobe by the McCain campaign, after the news broke last week"
Not keeping up with the media eh Perez? I heard her speak on this subject just last week in an interview…pfft.
OH, O.K. SO YOU KNOW EVERY DETAIL OF WHAT SHIT STAIN OBAMA HAS SPENT MONEY ON? WHEW! WHATEVER PEREZ
You know I was just thinking about this earlier today. I'm not voting for McCain/Palin (so there is no bias here) but yeah it's totally fucking sexist. Maybe if people didn't make it so important to have be dressed in designer clothes, then the campaign wouldn't have had to purchase them. You never heard about barack's tie or McCain's suit until people started pointing out the sexism of the constant banter of their wives clothes.
Elizabeth Hasselback is completly ridiculous, she just wants to feel important so she voices her stupid opinions everywhere, it is not sexist to point out the wasting of campaign dollars on a candidate's wardrobe
Elizabeth acts like a little girl trying to play grownup. Quit whining, bitch!
Definitely not sexiest.
I love Obama but you can bet your ass I would be outraged if he spent that much of his campaign money on clothes too!
Now if this was Palin's own personal money I would raise my eyebrow over it, but I wouldn't think it was news-worthy.
Obama is a Marxist!!

Vote no to a Marxist!! No Obama!!
.
A Survivor loser, a Caribou Barbie and a Snow Machine Todd walk in to a bar………….
i think they're both full of shit! n its not a distraction is ridiculous how much they spent sometimes its these little things that tell you what type of person she really is.. and maybe if she knew anything about any real issues she would be able to use them to shine the light towards them but she doesnt so this is what she leaves us with to focus on
Who cares? McCain will lose the election anyway….next.
DO WE REALLY NEED A VP WHO DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A SUITABLE WARDROBE? AN OLD MAN HASN'T BEEN USED THIS BAD SINCE ANNA NICOLE MET J HOWARD MARSHALL!!! WHAT A WHORE!!!
Its ridiculous they spent that kind of money….and then to say their giving it to charity……who the hell, that accepts charity, is gonna wear $3000. outfits……..we're do people that need charity go that needs an expensive suit like that?….
It is borderline sexist. She has a point. I can't stand her, I think she's an idiot, but I do think there are bigger fish to fry than how much they spent on her wardrobe. Sarah is the only strategy that's working for the Repubes right now, they know without a vag in the running they'd be handing the position to Obama on a silver platter. Of course they have to play her up and do what they can to make America fall in love with her. What they do with the campaign money is their strategy, it's all sleazy and dishonest anyway. Would you expect anything less? I wish we'd stop focusing on what she's wearing and how much they spent on her makeup artist and focus more on the fact that's she's simply not qualified to run this nation.
elizabitch needs to get the tree out of her ass. stupid annoying screetchy bitch!
Re: STFUP –
You mean even half of that on their entire family in a YEAR.
I paid 20k for my hat at Pimp Mart!
No, I think it is a valid point, displaying how the Republicans will throw away your precious, hard earned dollars on complete fluff. I have NO BEEF with the woman wearing nice clothing, but NO ONE CAN ARGUE THAT 150,000 IN 6 weeks is COMPLETELY EXCESSIVE.
I'm so tired of this. I don't like Hasselbeck or Palin but damn, isn't there something else to harp on? I mean, maybe her politics? Or her voice? I mean that's way more obnoxious than clothes.
Re: LettyB – LMAO! Amen sister!
No it isn't…..It is about wasteful spending…..do yuo think people really care what your'e wearing when they are watching you from their home s that are going into foreclosure?…..I think not. Spend the money on your campaign….Lord knows you need it!
Re: moshimoshi – great comment. thanks for making me smile.
and hasselbitch so works my last nerve!
Then, please detail the cost of Obama's suits and the cost of his airplane if it isn't sexist. Or are you waiting for Obama to redistribute the wealth and fix the Constitution. Seek the Truth According To t o m
considering that OBAMA spent over $50 Million Dollars in september for campaigning? sounds like it…
Absolutley Not! Her OWN party disclosed this information stating it was spent on her! This just proves how silly this woman is. She is missing the point..DO NOT SPEND DONATION ON CLOTHES!!!
the attack of two bimbos!!! lol
What are freaking joke these two are. Oh Gosh. Loves it Perez. Good job!
it's not sexist. gosh people are so full of shit now ; they say its sexist because its close to election time and they don't want people to focus on how much of a dumbass sarah palin really is.
people are really full of shit now days.
Im sure Obama and Mccain DID spend that much on clothes…so yes it is sexist… who the fuck cares…
OBAMA 08
Was the brouhaha over John Edwards' expensive haircuts "sexist" too?
WOW!!!
Re: Linda9801 – Get off his website then
It was given to her. How could she reject it? I sure wouldn't.
fresh!
I think everyone is forgetting that being mayor and governor are not exactly high paying jobs. It's understandable that Palin doesn't readily have the wardrobe necessary for daily appearances on national tv.
I donated to the McCain/Palin campaign and have no problem with the way my money is being spent. I would gladly donate more to Palin's Wardrobe Fund. Being a woman is tough. Men can wear the same suit everyday and no one would notice… women require a little more maintenance. Go Sarah!
YES SHUT THE F UP PEREZ THEY ARE NOT HERS TO KEEP! damn you are really starting to annoy me..i am sure obama refuses to release how much money he spends on his clothes…this is so stupid!
Re: Linda9801 – what would you do with your day then sweetheart?
Elizabeth is a fool, the press was all over John Mccain's $500.00 Farragamo Loafers and John Edwards $400.00 haircut. It would be sexist if they said that Palin's closes made her look dumpy, but they didn't. they merely pointed out that there was a huge expenditure that might be in violation of Campaign finance Laws. That isn't sexist Liz, but then again, if you had a brain you probably would be doing a different job.
Does Elizabeth never edit herself? Who really cares about the cloths?
This whole "issue" is nonsense. Instead of flogging a dead dog, Perez, why don't you do your job and get some interesting first-run gossip? Your blog hasn't been cutting edge for six months at least. All you do is swipe stories from other sites.
Michelle Obama and Sarah Palin both borrow designer clothes just like celebrities borrow designer clothes! They dont dress themselves, they have wardrobe people who do that for them~! Duh!!!
-
Overall, spending $150,000 and then claiming "its okay, its going to charity" doesn't exactly ring true.
-
That $150,000 could have been a LOT better spent on providing clothing for the needy instead of a small number of items worn by Palin.
First of all Palin did not know how much her clothes cost..they have people that purchase for them..just like the rest of them..secondly, Michele Obama is not running for anything..so WHY should she dress to impress…I guarantee if Hillary Clinton was still in the running you would see similarities..I think it is stupid, sexist and crazy that our Media is so set on making Palin/McCain look bad that this is what they resort too..
Re: Realist1 – I agree with you entirely.
Somebody, please stuff a sock in this bitch's mouth. Actually, both of them.
Re: Manda756 – high five! LOL
I wish they'd start talking about the fact that Sarah's husband is a SECESSIONIST and that she goes to a church that tries to "cure" homosexuals. taht's way more important to me than her hooker heels and designer suits from Neiman Marcus.
Re: lilsmac1 – You said. ""its ridiculous because i know that michelle obama actually does spend alot of money on her clothes but hum why is that never talked about?! "
____________________________________________________________
Because MICHELLE spends the money, she isn't taking $150,000 dollars that people sent in to the campaign to spend on herself. You really should take a second to think about what you're typing before you hit that "Submit" button.
"unimportant things" like Greek columns for the Obamapolis in Denver for the Annointed One, those kind of things???? please stop the partisan bullshit on this NON issue, the RNC can do whatever the fuck it wants with their $$$$ this story is pure horseshit!
I agree with Elizabeth.
Oh, & want to know the details of the Obama's & Biden's shopping habits.
I find it hard to believe that they are wearing cheap clothes!!!
What about Obama spending over $400,000 to fly his plane to Hawaii to see his grandmother. This was paid for from campaign donations. Wake up America. Hopefully you saw his little radio interview today. But then again maybe all the readers on this site want handouts.
How about focusing on the issues? No matter what Sarah does, she'll get trashed for it. Spend money on clothes-she's spending too much! DON'T spend money on clothes-She looks like Hell! Spend a little money on clothes-Can't she afford decent clothes?? Lose-lose-lose.
Re: lilsmac1 – They don't talk about it because Michelle Obama isn't afraid to wear H&M and White House Black Market. Also you moron, she pays for her clothes with the money she has earned from work. The democratic party didn't pay for it. Once again, another republic spits outs irrelevant information that has nothing to do with the question on hand which is… is it really necessary for the republican campaign to spend their donations on a 150,000 wardrobe from the priciest stores on 5th avenue on Palin?
Perez, I don't agree with you on this, so you must be an idiot too then.
waste of mone that is the issue when we have economy problems
Re: LettyB –
you sound like a complete idiot.
maybe when you wise up, you should talk then.
I think it's stupid how Perez keeps talking about this, get over it already. I'm sure if that ugly Michelle did something, they would not be attacking her over it.
I think it is sexist, because god forbid she wears nice clothes that someone else bought, SHE didn't buy them fuck tards!
Well did you see where she is not against gay marriage however Biden and Obama are. Keep drinnking that koolaide you dumb fuck.
Have you ever tried to put $150,000 worth of clothes on an ultra conservative sow? NOT EASY!
SEXIST???
BITCH HAS NO SHAME!!!
KIND OF LIKE HER QUEERFACED HUBBY GOIN' DOWN LIKE
MCSTAIN'S RATINGS IN AN AMSTERDAM BATH HOUSE!!!
.
.
.
BOTH freaks are scary, tight, homophobic bitches. One should shut her trap and the other should shut her legs.
No, I think it's relevant due the fact that spending is an important issue when her friggn wardrobe cost more than lots of people's homes! SHE continues to avoid the issues by even pandering to the topic to begin with. Well I mean goshilly dang it, the whole McPain campaign is doing anything they can in a last ditch effort to dig out of the ever widening hole they've dug for themselves. Can you say bridge to nowhere, Troopergate, the affair she had with her husband's friend, her pregnant kid(where's her influence on a child she's responsible for until age 18), I can see Russia from my house, you know Katie, the papers, all of them, you know the ones that I read, Bush Doctrine, Voodoo doctor blessing her, creationist, homophobic, prolife, dumbass…
I'm not a big fan of Sarah but I do think it's sexist to bitch about her wardrobe UNLESS it is also printed how much the others have spent on their wardrobes in comparison. Also, if Sarah has a stylist, the stylist will not really go into the exact price of the clothing.
It's not sexism and it's not even the price tag…. it is the question of appropiateness for public campaign funds since all other canidates use their own money which makes it news to begin with.
If she had just gone to Loehmann's then none of this would have happened!
pshhh SEXIST?? omg palin, come on what will you think of next? this isnt getting ENOUGH coverage in my opinion! we should know where that rnc campaign money is going. showing how a politician spends campaigning money from his/her supporters is uncovering their true demeanor and what they stand for, i say let the truth be told ! GAHHH i hate this woman!
I don't know about sexist but I do think it's ridiculous! John Edwards would spend $400 on haircuts whenhe was running for Prez. so they spend money on her wardrobe…so what? If she walked around in her consignment shop clothes people would have something nasty to say about that too. If Michelle Obama was spending campaign money on her wardrobe it would most certainly be news because Michelle Obama isn' running for office! No it hasn't been reported what Obama spends on his clothes…or mcCain…or Biden. So what? I'm sure a pretty penny is spent on a lot of things with both candidates that is wasteful and indulgent. The whole political system is wasteful and indulgent! I'm voting for my dog, Regan! His sweaters cast $14.99 at PetSmart, in case you're interested.
Earned? if it wasn't for affirmative action and all the handouts she gets she would be out in the cotton fiel.d
If Michelle Obama spent over $100k, it would make national news. UMMMM YEAH FREAKING RIGHT! Gimme a beak the media is so biased!
What about Obama spending over $400,000 to fly his plane to Hawaii to see his grandmother. This was paid for from campaign donations. Wake up America. Hopefully you saw his little radio interview today. But then again maybe all the readers on this site want handouts.

Oh really Perez, what's sexist and ridiculous is your fascination with everything negative about Palin. She is held to a scrutiny that even Jesus wouldn't be held to…totally mind boggling. I suppose if Obama wins, you will attribute it to you? Wellllll, when he f–ks up, as all thinking people know he will, then *I* will attribute it 2u2.
Re: Manda756 – #73
–
You mean she pays for it with the money she earned from the job she got a 100k raise for after Obama sent an earmark to the hospital where she works? Yeah… that WOOULD buy a lot of clothes! Good thinking, Obama!
–
Some other news:
-
From FactCheck, Oct. 26, 2008
-
A conservative group called RightChange.com has spent $3 million running ads that largely criticize Obama and his tax plans. They're false:
-
Two ads say Obama would tax "small businesses" at a rate of "62 percent." He wouldn't. That number is an inflated estimate of the very top tax rate, and it doesn't represent what Obama has proposed.
-
That false figure includes an increased Social Security tax rate that Obama doesn't support, plus the state income tax rate paid by people making more than a million dollars a year in California.
-
One ad implies that regular folks just trying to make it as entrepreneurs would be hit with such a rate. But even if this estimate were correct – and it's not – it would affect the wealthiest taxpayers and only 1 percent of those who could generously be considered small-business owners.
-
BOTH THESE BITCHES NEED TO SIT THEIR ASSES DOWN..IF PALIN IS SUCH AN AVERGAGE JOE, SHE COULD HAVE SAID NO THANK U TO THE CLOTHES…ELIZABITCH..I'M SURPRISED MCCAIN CAN EVEN FUNCTION WITH HER KISSING HIS ASS EVERY DAY!
I don't think it's sexist at all.
I think that spending $150,000 just on clothing is beyond extreme. The money was donated to support a candidate, not her wardrobe. It shouldn't matter what the candidate is wearing, as long as they have the knowledge and capability to govern a country. Palin has neither the knowledge or the capability… just a closet full of clothes and an empty head.
It's not the amount she spent, it's that it was donated money from McCain supporters who THOUGHT they were paying for media buys and travel expenses. Nobody cares that Cindy spends millions because it's her own money. Just like McCain himself, and Michelle and Barack Obama, who all dress themselves. Palin should have had to pay for the princess make-over herself just like every other candidate.
Re: Realist1 – I only hope that Perez mentions the $4 million the Dem campaign has tossed in parties! The $400,000- in food. This stuff doesn't just happen to the Repubs, Perez.
Wow…Leonas Ghost, LettyB and Sweet Pat…pretty violent and hateful posting there. Aren't you liberal types supposed to be tolerant and caring and loving peaceful types. You sound so bitter and meanspirited. I feel sorry for you. You must be miserable.
As for Elizabeth, I don't agree with her very much but that's NO EXCUSE TO SLAM A PERSON. What I do like about Elizabeth is that she has the courage to stick to her views. People shouldn't go along with trends or what is most popular, they need to stick to views that fit their own personal value system and vote for the same.
Re: scooterrific – #45 … Read your comment again 3 times so it can sink in your hollow head. FOR CAMPAIGNING !!!!!!! Correct me if I'm wrong, but, THATS WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE SPENT ON !! I bet you were the brightest cookie in your class. LOL
When clothes have to pulled for something as big as this, they are going to pull more than they need (hince the the $) and then return the rest!!! Big deal, it is not that deep! Lets try to be a little more biased for once!
More about the McCain favoring "RightChange" ads:
-
from FactCheck, Oct. 26, 2008
-
In one of its ads, titled "Angry?," Right Change says that "Obama will tax Wall Street firms … at 35 percent, while many small businesses pay 62 percent."
An outrage, right? The Tax Foundation's Gerald Prante sure thinks so – about the ad's claim, that is. He wrote a blistering critique of the ad, saying, "This is so ridiculous that I'm almost at a loss for words."
-
Prante went on to question RightChange.com's general knowledge of how taxes work, saying: "The people behind this ad are either downright deceitful or too stupid to understand [marginal tax rates]; and given what else they are putting out … I don't know which it is."
-
