Skinhead Plot to Assassinate Obama Stopped by the Feds

According to new reports, Federal agents have broken up a white supremacist plot to assassinate presidential candidate Barack Obama AND shoot or decapitate 102 black people in Tennessee.
Jim Cavanaugh, a special agent in charge of the Nashville field office for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, said that they nabbed two men who planned to shoot 88 black people and decapitate another 14.
The numbers 88 and 14 are apparently symbolic in the white supremacist community.
Cavanaugh went on to say as their last an final 'act', "…that they would attempt to kill Senator Obama… They didn't believe they would be able to do it, but that they would get killed trying."

I have followed Barack's political career my whole 4 years as a Political Science major. I was always hoping he would run for President. However, I knew if he did he would be in grave danger. I also knew that it would not just be him who was in trouble but also the Black community as a whole. If you look through our political history in times where there is great economic problems, the country is in unrest, or when a minority group member runs for office there are records or race riots and even mass murders of minority groups members. We have all those factors in our society right now. I worry that his is not the last attempt.
Whether you like him or not, whether you agree with him or not, whether you will vote for him or not, please pray for him. He is not just a politician he is a father, a husband, and a grandson.

For me the most disturbing aspect of the political process this time around is the abject and "primitive" racism that has been exposed throughout the way. Ironically, Obama is "half" "white" as well as "half" "black" — yet, because he "looks" black, he is continually and constantly referred to as BLACK. The "black" community is more acutely aware of just how many "whites" exist in both the "black" family lines as well as within the community. Why do I place black and white within quotes? Because there's no such thing as race, people. There's one race; it's called the human race. The IDEA of "race" is a social construct — we've been trained to notice skin color. (Why don't we "notice" that we all have two eyes on the front of our heads and two ears on the sides, and ten fingers on our hands and that we walk on two legs, for examples?) Biologists, thanks to the human genome project, have even found that people who are viewed as "white" have more DNA in common with people who are viewed as "black" than each group has in common with its "own." The Q remains as to why these facts are ignored by so many who seem to need to cling desperately to prejudices and superstitious beliefs that have no basis in any reality other than the absurdly warped or frightened hatemongers.

The USA has has a income in-proportionate tax scale since the beginning of taxes. The wealthy have always paid more than the poor. In fact, not since the end of the 19th Century (the late 1800's) have the wealthy paid so little, or nothing. Obama's plan is the close the loop holes and to create more "fairness" in that the people hit the hardest currently, including through the alternative minimum tax (AMT), are not the super rich. The only other way is the flat tax, and I'm all for it. However, it's the super rich, who, incidentally, have gotten more and more rich while paying fewer and fewer taxes in the past 8 years, who fight the flat tax the hardest, along with lobby groups representing the IRS and tax attorneys and accountants, too, since, if we all paid a flat tax of 10% (say), they'd be out of their jobs!
Please don't kill Obama. That could get Biden closer to the presidency and turn Obama into a saint like it did that traitor JFK.
