Balfour's Alibi Doesn't Hold Up

Jennifer Hudson's brother in law, ex-con William Balfour, remains the #1 suspect in the triple homicide of her mother, brother and 7-year old nephew.
And, according to police sources, it seems Balfour's girlfriend has contradicted his alibi and he's been caught in another undisclosed lie as well.
A neighbor who lives on the same block says he remembers seeing a man he believes was Balfour drive up in a white SUV and park it on the block around Noon on Friday. That's about three hours after the murders.
The neighbor also added that the man got out of the car carrying what looked like a bottle of liquor and then walked into the home where Balfour was later arrested that day.
Reports claim that Balfour and Hudson's sister may have been arguing Friday morning, the day of the tragic killings. A family friend even said that Balfour had made previous threats against the family and Julian.
Balfour is currently still being held for violating his parole on a conviction back in 1999 for attempted murder and vehicular hijacking. He served nearly seven years in prison.
He should have spent more time in jail!
Now, he'll be lucky to get a life sentence, if he's not executed!
I don't understand how people can be so wicked. All these moms killing their kids, that one dude who killed his family because he was in a financial crisis,the rash of honor killings in New York by weirdo Muslim dads angry that their kids wear t-shirts. I don't get this sick twisted mind set. Armageddon at this point seems like a viable solution.

If he did it, and all seems to point that he did, he should pay dearly. He should thank his lucky stars that he is an American and is in America. Elsewhere they would think nothing of tourturing him as he (if guilty) did this poor child and how without skipping a beat he executed this family in cold blood. Shame on him. At least I know that the system cannot torture him, however….the inmates…..that is another story……..

The state of Illinois does not support the death penalty, so there is no chance of him being executed.

I'm from Chicago. They don't offer the death penalty in Illinois. They should make an exception in this case.
Seriously, what is wrong with some people? And you know what is going to happen? If it they indict this guy, during his trial, his defense attorney will say that he was abused as a child which caused him to be this way; as if that is some kind of valid excuse. I don't care if you were buttfucked by Jeffrey Dahmer as a child, it doesn't give you any excuse to murder someone, especially a seven year old. My heart goes out to Jennifer and her whole family.

Fuck this shit. When you take a life, or attempt to take a life, you have used up your privilege to live among society. That is where government fails every single citizen. It is the job of government to protect the public. When they let a murderer back into society, they are failing everyone in that duty.

This is just stupid. It is pretty OBVIOUS that this monster is the one responsible for the slayings. He was in jail for attempted murder and for stealing a car, two of the things that happened last friday. It's unfortunate that this man was let in to their lives and I hope that jen's sister will make better judgements next time. If someone threatens your family or shows signs of a violent personality, as a parent you should not let a person like that around you or your loved ones.

Wow well if he is guilty then he should get what he deserves. My heart goes out to the mother of the child. Losing a child is the worst thing in the world. Losing a parent and a sibling too, but does not compare to a child's loss. Bless this childs mother and give her the strength

Ok, if someone killed my child, they wouldn't even make it to jail. I'd kill them myself….with my bare hands. What kinda twisted person could do that? At least the adults could put up a fight. This man should never have been let out of jail to begin with. He was serving time for attempted murder, he should've been in jail at least 20 years. Illinois doesnt have the death penalty anymore.. so the most he'll get is life. many people are against the DP, but when it comes to the punishment for something like a 7 yr olds life… makes you think.. either way, God will have the last word on his fate.
