Will Barbara Walters keep funny lady Joy Behar around or opt to keep the delusional Elisabeth Hasselbeck?
That decision may have to be made soon!
A new report in the Chicago Sun-Times claims that the tension between Behar and Elizabitch is getting unbearable.
Apparently the two aren't speaking to each other, only when they're on air or a camera is present.
It seems their screaming matches backstage have been escalating, primarily because of their very different views on the upcoming elections.
And Hasselbeck is said to be furious at the fact that Joy has been doing impersonations of her from the Florida rally this past weekend, even wearing a shiteous green coat.
Joy even tried to poke fun at Elizabitch by saying that it doesn't matter if Sarah Palin spends $150,000 on a shopping spree, because she said jokingly, "Elisabeth spends that much in a month!"
But it seems Hasselbeck is growing tired of this and is complaining to producers and Walters.
It's a tough choice, but, we say….
Keep Elisabeth! She's the only exciting thing on The View these days.

I pride myself in being open-minded and fair. Whe the View first aired, I liked that there was a balanced group of ladies, intellegent enough to discuss real issues. Now, it has become a group of waspy harps attacking each other weekly. The other ladies do gang up on Elisabeth, and thankfully she defends herself. I wouldn't want that job. I'd have already beat Joy's ass by now.

I don't think this is true, I have friends that have different political views, we debate, we argue but at the end of the day our friendship is above politics, and I think that is also true for Elizabeth and Joy.

It debases Barbara to see her sucking up to this ignorant and pushy young woman with no grace. Intelligent people can advance their point of view through logic and linear thinking. Elizabeth appears to be incapable of neither. Therefore, her ridiculous rants get ratings (i.e., she appears to be unstable). Barbara becomes increasingly rich on those ratings so sucks up to her in a very undignified manner. Please Barbara, fine a conservative who can explain the party's positions without constant interrupting and who can agree with the other side ONCE in a while. Obviously the sweet (fake) smile of Ms. Hasselbeck has fooled a great deal of people. She is shrill, snarky and unable to add anything to the conversation that she hasn't seen on a news blurb on Fox news. I'm all for spirited debate, so find a smart, well-read conservative who can hold her own against Joy and Whoopi without whining that they are picking on her. I find in interesting that Elisabeth never seems to answer direct questions from the other ladies…without trying to spin the conversation in another direction. More proof that unless the producers write it on her blue card to read, her mind can't work fast enough to provide an intelligent response. I applaud Joy and Whoopi! I'm not a fan of Elisabeth's stances generally…political or otherwise. However, the other women really do gang up on her pretty regularly and you have to give her credit for hanging in there. I would've whipped a shoe at them by now.
As far as "who should go"…. of course they're not going to let Elisabeth go, if they can help it. The dynamic would be skewed. There has to be an element on the show that goes against the grain of the rest. You have Joy way over on one side with Whoopi not far behind, Sherri closer to Whoopi than Elisabeth, and then Barbara, who tries to play mediator. If they get rid of Elisabeth what kind of interaction would there be? Yes maam, I agree with you maam….oh goody, we're all on the same page….yay.

I don't watch the view often but, what I've seen is, while Joy is a mediocre comedienne, I feel she is far more opinionated and closed minded than anyone else on the panel. While she has a right to her opinions, I don't think, to the average person, her opinion matters. Elizabeth has every right to her opinion and to challenge and debate issues especially when the panel isn't balanced and, not to make this a racial debate, she is in the minority, politically speaking. Debate is good. Both sides should be heard, whether you agree with it or not. To eliminate one side or the other would be wrong. Anyone of intelligence should consider both sides of an issue before making a decision. In Joy's case her negativity diminishes her credibility.
Joy brings more humor to the show, it would be dead without it. Elisabeth is too boring and only brings a a lil eye candy to the show. You can replace the eye candy easier than humor
