The Olsens were looking particularly leggy at a book pimping session in NYC on Tuesday, thanks to some serious heels.
Same old raccoon eyes, same old prune-y smirks.
Their book, Influence, is a coffee table book about fashion.
Apparently their book signings are accompanied by a list of 9 rules that fans must follow in order to receive an autographed copy. The rules stipulate the usual ixnay on the photographay, but also demand a god-like reverence, wherein fans accept their books in silence.
You can't look them in the eyes and any sudden movements may startle them. Don't tap on the glass!

They always look like little girls playing dress up in their mothers clothes.
I was there. Fans were allowed to talk to them, and they responded. They were very shy and didn't say much, but they talked to you if you said something to them. The Barnes and Noble people made us take our jackets off before going up to them though. It was weird. And you couldn't bring a bag up to the table. The list of rules were normal for a book signing and most weren't even regarding the twins. They were more instructions, like "You will collect your signed book at the table and if you paid for additional copies you can pick them up before you leave." They only signed one copy per person and only one person could use each wristband, which is normal. And they only signed their books. It was pretty much a normal book signing. Just upsetting we couldn't take pictures with them.

I was at the Union Square B&N today. I popped in to pick up a movie for my boss. I am a PA . There was a group of protesters outside. I think they are from Peta they had on these distorted MK & Ashley masks on. I said, " you must really hate those girls because it is rainy, cold and wet in NYC to stand outside all day". I saw them on Oprah and they seem really nice and I love their style, they're not afraid to take risks and I think thats good.

I love them and I LOVE their book. The photos are gorgeous. And unlike some celebs, this book really isn't about them at all. They chose such truly fascinating people, it's a great mix. Go buy it! And Olsens: come to CHICAGO for a book signing, I will be first in line!
