The Jonas Brothers plus Bonus Jonas, Frankie, are set to star in a movie about a farting dog named Walter.
The movie is an adaptation of the popular kids' books by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray. The books revolve around the adventures of Walter the Farting Dog.
The lads play a group of musicians (Now there's a stretch!) whose parents come into the care of Walter, passed unto them from their aunt before she passes away. Frankie plays the kid brother with sinuses so bad he's unaffected by the malodorous mutt. Together, Frankie and Walter go on adventures that include freeing some koi fish and catching jewel thieves.
20th Century Fox is hoping for a franchise.

I so hate that book, or correction those books, my son has 2~ Strangley enough the jonas brothers look sort of like the family in those books so its a good fit, hope the dog looks like walter too~ There is one part in the book where the family take the dog to the vet, the picture shows the vet looking up the dogs but talking about RECTAL FLATULENCE i was on the floor in hysterics, but then thought ok is this really appropriate for little kids???????

actually, itss more of Frankies movie, the other boys are just supporting characters, kinda seen but Frankie is the star, you just see the guys when they are with Frankie's character. so it makes sense, little 8 year old frankie in a movie about a farting dog.
and I guess it makes sense, I mean the books are popular, and if you have seen the books (which I did because I taught a summer thing once) they look like the family so if they asked Frankie to do it, its makes sense they would ask the brother. Farting is a thing that kids love and laugh at, and its not so much about the farting as the friendship the boy has with the dog. It may not be a career boosting move but I dont think it will do them bad. Look at Rupert Grint, he did that movie thunderpants about the farting best friend and becoming an astronaut on a ship powered by farts and he is still big. IDK what to think?! sounds gross though, dog farts are AWFUL!

1) The Jonas Brothers are in it, which means kids and teens will probably go see it.
