We don't know what to make of this.
For the fifth time in two decades, Pepsi has unveiled a new logo which should hit stores early next year. And along with Pepsi's transformation, Sierra Mist and Mountain Dew have also gotten a new look.

Mtn. Dew is a staple especially in the south and that new logo is trying to make it look too "urban hip". Somethings just needs to keep a tradition.

WHY? If I was a company like this I wouldn't mess so much with my branding. It doesn't seem like a good business decision. But I'm sure some ad agency talked them into some brand update.

Not a huge fan. I think they'll lose sales because of it. It won't stand out anymore as a 'familiar' logo. BAD idea to change it with the economy already crappy…

They've worked so long to build the brand and to get brand and logo recognision and then they come out with a new logo? (a shit looking one). This is not Pepsi- the old logo was Pepsi. Dumbasses.

It won't last ,just like clear pepsi and coca-cola blak. As consumers we get use to somthing and stay with it. This new "look" will probably have bad reviews. Sales will still be up due to the product being the same, but the new logo isn't too appealing. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it"
