Not most Canadians, asshole! How do you measure 'best' country anyways? It is pretty subjective too me. All I know is that I wouldn't want to be injured in the States because the medical fees would bancrupt me, nor would I want to be black or gay, lest I be lynched or shot. Best country in the world? It's better than most for sure, but 'best' is a delusion you keep telling yourselves - and you have come to believe it. If you had even the slightest notion of your countries'foreign policies, you might understand why the world has the attitude towards America it does.

That's right the younger generation is going to change the outcome of the vote. During the Bush/ Gore, Bush/ Kerry election period we were all asleep. Our head's were not taking information and making sense of it all. I think everyone woke up and understands that our current situation is BAD and if we want any progress so that the next 4 years are a new start ( because it's going to take at least 14 years to clean up the mess the Bush Dynasty has left in the white house) , We need New Leadership with different Policies. It's time a Democrat steps into Office and takes Charge.

You might want to look around the world, In France they have just had major race riots, partially brought on because 2nd and 3rd generation north african immigrants still can't get citizenship. In Germany, turks can live there for generations and still not gain citizenship. In Japan they have Koreans whos families have been in the contry for generations yet do not have full citizenship, yet here in the U.S. we are about to elect our first president who is a minority. I understand that you think things could be better. But making such sweeping statements just shows that you really haven't ever been anywhere else in the world.

I can tell you I live in the US, and I wouldn't call it "the greatest country on earth." It needs a lot of work right now. I have relatives in Denmark and the things they do for their people definitely make them better than the US as a country. Our government needs to take better care of the people who create it. We're not the greatest country, but we're not the worst either. Right now, we're a just above o.k. country and that's not good enough.
