Cher Has Allergies…Not Cancer

The mono-moniker-ed Cher is brushing off rumors that she canceled the year's last pair of Vegas performances on account of cancer. The singer says that to quite the contrary, she is in perfect health.
She says that the cancellations, were in fact, caused by allergies. The allergies made her throat sore and thus unable to sing.
She says that if she indeed had cancer, everyone would know about it because "when you have those kind of things happen if you're famous you can't keep them a secret."
But she isn't bothered by the rumors.
"People have been saying the weirdest things since I was a teenager."
Well we're glad to hear that she's okay!
