Even More Reason To VOTE On Tuesday!

Krispy Kreme isn't the only company giving away great goodies if you vote.
Ben & Jerry's is getting in on the freebie action too!
On the eve of election day, Ben & Jerry's will be giving out a FREE ice cream scoop to consumers around the nation!
The free ice cream scoop will be available on the evening of Tuesday, November 4th from 5-8pm.
But here's the difference.
A rep for Ben & Jerry's says, "Originally, we planned to give free scoops away just to those who voted. We found out afterwards that certain laws may not allow it. So instead we're celebrating our election with a national party."
Democracy never tasted so sweet!
We think they should have kept it for only those that voted and maybe kids under 18. But either way, it's still free ice cream.
Their rep adds, "Even though we're giving scoops away to everyone, regardless of whether they vote or not, we hope they still take part in their civic duty."
So remember, go VOTE and make a difference!
Then indulge yourself in some yummy doughnuts and ice cream.
Now if only someone would give away free coffee, we'd be set!

Ha ha! What a joke. The US always keeps spewing all this crap about democracy and how important it is and how Russia has no democracy. All at the same time, Bush wins even though Al Gore gets more votes and people have to be bribed just to vote. That's how much the US values democracy….they don't even vote……American Idol gets more voters. I remember seeing something on Oprah where it was mentioned that the women in Kuwait (who are filthy rich and can get whatever thay want) can't vote yet. The US audience was so shocked! Hypocrites!
And to the REPUBLIC for which it stands………….. America is a Republic, not
a Democracy! Look it up, learn it, know it, its important. Obama has never
done anything except hide his past. What has he done?
If you voted absentee, you can't do this. phooey. I didn't want to stand in line for 5 hours-so no donut for me. And Ben and Jerry's is like 80 miles away.
I work at a Ben and Jerry's in Vermont and we are doing this…BUT the sucky thing is Ben and Jerry's was bought out by Unilever a couple of years ago and for some reason the fabulous and completely profitable store I work at is getting shut down for no reason what so ever. And while Ben and Jerry themselves are not gay (assholes) the company IS acting ridiculous and it is absolutely horrible.
