George Lopez Is Gonna Get A Talk Show?

After debuting to lukewarm ratings from 2002 to 2007, ABC's The George Lopez Show has experienced a weird syndicated second life that rivals even Seinfeld's afterlife.
So, naturally, Warner Bros. is now looking at producing a George Lopez talk show. People from Warner Bros. have met with people from Fox TV, but they are keeping their options open.
Right now, Fox is looking for its very own late-night talk show to complete with David Letterman and Jay Leno and it seems like they think that Lopez's stand up comedy personality might be just the thing.
Would U tune in?

Hell no!
George Lopez had a great sitcom for a while, but now some actors on that show over act (like Friends did toward the end). That's annoying. I think George would do very well with his own show. I'll watch it; he's hilarious!

The George Lopez Show wasn’t necessarily my cup of tea but there aren’t many shows that centered on Latino families and for that it was pretty successful. I don’t know if I would watch his late night show, but it would probably do well.
As much as I love George, I really can't see his own talk show doing very well - does anyone remember Chevy Chase's try at that? lol.

Heck yes!!! I was one fo the people who never watched the George Lopez show. We went to the TV land awards a few years ago and I didnt even know why he was there. Now that they had the reruns, I have seen ALL of them… Soem about ten times! My favorite is when they go to Disneyland!

I watched George Lopez during it's run on ABC and I loved it, and I still watch it on Nick at Nite, and so do all of my friends. Then again, I live in So. Cal 10 minutes away from the border so we were listening to George Lopez before he had a TV show…I would watch it, George is the mannn!

George Lopez is funny as hell, i would totally watch his show.
