Hi mama, I watched it coz I fucking wanted to see his family, but I guess he has none coz I still don't know who the fuck he is. The show was the same shit we already seen. He wouldn't even show Bill Clinton at the end of his show at his rally in Florida Live. Bill
Clinton excited me more at the rally than obama. I love him.

My respect for Jon Stewart, he was fair and at the end he stated he respected both canidates. I vote for Obama, but, I too respect that both of these men are doing everything they can to make this country a better place. Mccain obviously loves the country and that is why he fought for this nation as well as served in our Senate for several years, Obama is risking his life for what he believes and in trying to help this nation get back on track, so respect to both!!!

Seeing Obama's face on practically every channel last night reminded me of something from North Korea. I wonder if he wins if he will interrupt our programming every night to spread his agenda…wouldn't surprise me. The guy is a fraud, paid for by thugs in the middle east and a few choice American-haters here. It's pretty obvious when both he and Michelle give quotes from the book "Rules for Radicals" in their convention speeches that they think America is just a mean country run by rich white people. Go look up the book, they are following it to the letter. Sad thing is, it's some of you white people (who they obviously hate) who is out voting for him.

    35. 35

The jealousyis absolutely ridiculous. I watched it, he basically put a human face to the issues and why it is imperative we address them ASAP. The people he featured represent all one way or another. It was well put together and I liked the live speech after. I wish I saw more of Bill Clinton as well at the live rally. Overall he did pretty damn good, Just my opinion.
BTW, The BEST John McCain did was on Larry King Live THAT is the John McCain I remember best, it bothers me that THAT John McCain was absent during the debates. The man was very sharp and succinct in expressing his viewpoints I just wish he never picked Palin as VP.

As far as the posters that have conversations amongst each other: TAKE IT TO AIM.

Barack "wisely" chose to spend his campaign money on the 30-minute informative blitz. That's called using your brains and using advertising dollars the way they should be used.

Too bad McSame chose to blow his ads on tearing down Barack.

Whatever….
As to the economy, and a completely democrap controlled congress/senate for the past 2 years who were the same bastards who got campaign contributions from Fannie/Freddie liars have nothing to do with our economy being in the toilet—keep drinking the friggin kool aid the obama worshippers are handing out.

    62. 62

Re: kjen – 27 You are obviously disillusioned. The sad thing about your comments is that Obama and his bipartisan administration will help you and all of the other detractors spewing vile hatred. The only negative things I have ever heard about this man have come from people running against him in elections and their supporters. Those that hate him do it, because he can relate to almost anyone and racists, misogynists and classists can't stand it, because it compromises their agenda when everyone gets along. He also is the antithesis of all of your disgusting stereotypes and makes you feel bad for not accomplishing more with your life. White people are voting for him, because the former administration lied until the truth came out and they could lie no longer. The curtain has fallen back and the wizard is exposed. This country is in ruins, but your most pressing concern is the candidate with the only coherent plan to stop the freefall is biracial - brilliant!

    63. 63

Watch the "racism is the only reason people wouldn't vote for Obama" rhetoric. Even if he wins, probably more than half the population will not have voted for him. To start out calling half the nation racist is not gonna create the "unity" Barack promises! I'm not voting for him because he wants to punish success and is a baby killer who doesn't show good judgement in regard to his past associations. These are the facts. He's not black, he's not white. He's both. And he's wrong for America.

    64. 64

And to finally lay to rest that Obama broke a promise to McCain, ENJOY :
      —————————————————————————————-
"In an ironic twist this week for Arizona Senator John McCain, the Republican presidential hopeful may be forced to prove he is adept at making spending cuts after Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean has gone after him on his attempt to pull out of an early decision to accept public campaign funds.Should McCain be forced to remain in the program, his spending would be capped at $54 million until the end of the primary season in September. And according to the most recent fillings, his campaign has already spent $49 million. Mr. McCain signed on for matching public funds early in the season after his campaign nearly went broke, but after he charged ahead of the pack in Florida and the Super Tuesday states, his fund raising quickly followed suit.
On February 6th, McCain requested the Federal Election Commission allow him to withdraw his campaign from the public financing program and, more importantly, the spending caps that came with it."

Re: Smirks – Wow, I expected something better from you. How can you not comment on at least the parts about real American's and their struggles. This is America there is no way a 72 year old man who lived the American dream and worked his ass off, should have to work at Wal-mart to pay his wife's rising medical bills. Same with the other American that lost over half of his pension and can't do anything about it. Are republicans that cruel?

    72. 72

Perez. Really Come on now. You need to call NoBama out on his pack of lies he said last night. I f all you sheep srill follow him after that. You deserve the hell he is going to bring to this once Great Country.

Re: Jenny2 – Had you watched you would have seen the OTHER non-lazy Americans that have done the same thing you've done and got effed by the last administration and now cant retire in peace. This is what the world has become…So tell me did you tell the last administration to not give money to the people who worked everyday only to come home and find out their job is being shipped away because the last administration gave tax breaks to companies that did this? Why do you all think that the governement only helps the lazy??? Why do you all not see that the midle class is suffering too??

    76. 76

Re: nikkiboop – Sure sales are good. Apple deposited your money, just like Barack. My iPhone blows.

    77. 77

Re: Jenny2 – 46 Republicans, like Senator McCain's lobbyist campaign staffers, also got those same checks. They knew the fraud in the real estate market and Wall Street were the only two things keeping this country afloat while W. Bush and the Republican Congress (of the prior six years) were letting the plutocrats siphon America's wealth and jobs off to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. What do you geniuses think the global economy (nwo) is all about? While our dollar was reduced to nothing by all of Greenspan's rate cuts (to spur irresponsible spending, urban sprawl, flipping and exotic, fiscally unsound mortgage products like interest only mortgages) the euro grew to almost double the value of the dollar.

    78. 78

Re: Jenny2 – 57 Part 2 The numbers of realtors and mortgage brokers were the highest they had ever been, not due to interest in the professions, but simply because so many jobs were outsourced to other countries and there were massive layoffs, so hard working people transitioned. Now those options are gone and so many people are headed for disaster through no fault of their own, and the best plan McCain has is to ignore the problems and attack Obama's associations (while he has a tremendous amount of his own), but no one cares, we are more concerned with our own livelihoods. Just so you know if things don't improve all of your hard work will have been for naught, and taxes won't be an issue, because you won't have your business or a job. Once a ship starts sinking in the ocean the whole thing goes down.

    79. 79

Re: Geminijeff – Wow, past associations? Not sure who you are voting for, but Palin sleeps with a man that wanted his state to leave the country. McCain sleeps with a women who stole drugs from her own charity. You'll have to come up with a better excuse then past associations, unless of course your voting for Cynthia Mckinney. Baby-killer? I laugh out loud when you all spew that non-sense because it show JUST how ignorant you really are with two words.

      Re: nikkiboop – #71

The only part I found even remotely touching was the guy who lost his pension. I DON'T think companies OWE their employees pensions, but if companies PROMISE pensions they should follow through, and be prosecuted if the fail to do so.

The guy who had to work at Wal-mart. I do feel sorry for him, but how is it my responsibility or the government's that apparently he didn't set aside enough for retirement including rising healthcare costs? Proper planning prevents poor performance. Also, poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.

The segments with the two females were laughable. Struggling? One was fat as hell with a bad manicure and the other had her kid in football. I don't know about you, but mani/pedis are an expense I've had to forego for awhile now, and it costs at LEAST $500/season for youth football. If she were so financially strapped, I don't think the one woman would be clinically obese, either. Cry me a river.

Does this make me a "cruel Republican"? lol.

    88. 88

WASHINGTON – Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was less than upfront in his half-hour commercial Wednesday night about the costs of his programs and the crushing budget pressures he would face in office.

Obama's assertion that "I've offered spending cuts above and beyond" the expense of his promises is accepted only by his partisans. His vow to save money by "eliminating programs that don't work" masks his failure throughout the campaign to specify what those programs are — beyond the withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

A sampling of what voters heard in the ad, and what he didn't tell them:

    89. 89

THE SPIN: "That's why my health care plan includes improving information technology, requires coverage for preventive care and pre-existing conditions and lowers health care costs for the typical family by $2,500 a year."

THE FACTS: His plan does not lower premiums by $2,500, or any set amount. Obama hopes that by spending $50 billion over five years on electronic medical records and by improving access to proven disease management programs, among other steps, consumers will end up saving money. He uses an optimistic analysis to suggest cost reductions in national health care spending could amount to the equivalent of $2,500 for a family of four. Many economists are skeptical those savings can be achieved, but even if they are, it's not a certainty that every dollar would be passed on to consumers in the form of lower premiums.

      ___

    90. 90

THE SPIN: "I also believe every American has a right to affordable health care."

THE FACTS: That belief should not be confused with a guarantee of health coverage for all. He makes no such promise. Obama hinted as much in the ad when he said about the problem of the uninsured: "I want to start doing something about it." He would mandate coverage for children but not adults. His program is aimed at making insurance more affordable by offering the choice of government-subsidized coverage similar to that in a plan for federal employees and other steps, including requiring larger employers to share costs of insuring workers.

      ___

    91. 91

THE SPIN: "I've offered spending cuts above and beyond their cost."

THE FACTS: Independent analysts say both Obama and Republican John McCain would deepen the deficit. The nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates Obama's policy proposals would add a net $428 billion to the deficit over four years — and that analysis accepts the savings he claims from spending cuts. The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, whose other findings have been quoted approvingly by the Obama campaign, says: "Both John McCain and Barack Obama have proposed tax plans that would substantially increase the national debt over the next 10 years." The analysis goes on to say: "Neither candidate's plan would significantly increase economic growth unless offset by spending cuts or tax increases that the campaigns have not specified."

    92. 92

THE SPIN: "Here's what I'll do. Cut taxes for every working family making less than $200,000 a year. Give businesses a tax credit for every new employee that they hire right here in the U.S. over the next two years and eliminate tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. Help homeowners who are making a good faith effort to pay their mortgages, by freezing foreclosures for 90 days. And just like after 9-11, we'll provide low-cost loans to help small businesses pay their workers and keep their doors open. "

THE FACTS: His proposals — the tax cuts, the low-cost loans, the $15 billion a year he promises for alternative energy, and more — cost money, and the country could be facing a record $1 trillion deficit next year. Indeed, Obama recently acknowledged — although not in his commercial — that: "The next president will have to scale back his agenda and some of his proposals."

      Re: mollymouse

Haha. Thanks. Stole it from "Chocolate News" tbh.

    94. 94

Re: nikkiboop – You mean like the drugs Obama was hooked on and so proudly wrote about in his many "memoirs"? By the way, Palin’s husband has been a member of the AIP in the past, but since 2002 has been a registered independent. Also, the party doesn't demand secession. They advocate choice in the matter by a state-wide vote. Something Alaskans weren't given when made a state. That should appeal to a pro-choice mind like yours. I don't know if you heard, but there are millions of people who find abortion repulsive. Personally, I wouldn't appeal Roe v. Wade cuz it wouldn't stop abortion. Like prohibition didn't stop drinking. But the sanctity of life isn't a joke.

    95. 95

Go Obama. The rest of the world is counting on you to vote him in, America!

    97. 97

Also, first Obama said everyone making less than 250k would get a tax break, then he said less than 200k, then Joe Biden said less than 150k. Hmmmm. Yeah. They might want to get their "story" straight. Guess it's just a "campaign promise" - and we all know how mister I-won't-run-for-president-in-2008-because-I-don't-have-enough-experience, I-won't-use-private-funds-to-campaign feels about honoring promises.

    98. 98

Re: Geminijeff – 52 There's a lot of hypocrisy with the pro force movement. Just be genuine and say, "I don't want any embryo that looks like me to be extracted. Most don't really care about all life, and once the baby gets here it's allowed to starve, be tortured, neglected and abused, because social programs are viewed as the devil. Abortions have decreased over the last seven years due to the invention of the morning after pill, which Palin refused to say whether she was for or against, but I'm betting that a woman who would force a 12 year old rape victim to carry a rapist's spawn would vote against the morning after pill. How many unwanted children have you adopted?
