In a drastic cost-cutting effort, the company is firing 600 of its employees.

Times are tough indeed!

      Can you PLEASE stop posting these such things as another reason to bash the current President? Can you PLEASE educate yourself to the fact that the internet has significantly contributed to the demise of newspaper and magazine subscriptions? How about we look at the UPPER level paychecks of the editors etc, let me enlighten you, while these firings take place to do you think the grand POOHBAHS take a pay cut to save 1 job??? Hell to the NO!! Trust me on this one, I have a degree in Journalism and work in the industry. YES I KNOW THE ECONOMY SUCKS, but it is not the only reason these magazines fold.

Newsflash: You rip off other magazine's news stories, whitewash them with publicists BS, and package it in a generic manner. You broke no news stories, and coasted on buckets of cash that Time Inc., has, and now it's "ciao" to you. More firings to come I hear
