Looks like Amy Winehouse is addicted to more than just drugs.
Wino's apparently got a mean sweet tooth…er, she's missing her sweet tooth…or wait, that's how she lost her tooth!
Either way, besides spending her money on crack, she's also shelled out a small fortune converting a room in her Camden flat into a candy shop, complete with cotton candy machine and stocked with loads of treats.
A source says, "Amy seems to be constantly stuffing herself with sugary snacks. She loves all of the stuff from her childhood in the Eighties, from Slush Puppies to Bull's Eyes and licorice."
While sugar is a much more harmless white stuff, too much isn't very good for you. Besides containing no nutritional value, it lowers your immune system, and that's not going to help Amy with her chest, lung, and skin infections. And it rots your teeth!
We know you can go to rehab for a sex addiction, but what about a sucrose addiction?

I got off sugar about 10 years ago and feel great. It is a real rare occasion I'll have a donut, candy or piece or pie. Once you go a couple of weeks without it, you will really lose your taste for the stuff.
"Sugar Highs" are very addictive and difficult to overcome. Amy's probably got a great many "demons" to beat down; just hope she's able to conquer them before they kill her…

Perez-I'm a pre-med/nutrition major at a well respected university. In no way have I every liked Amy Winehouse however you are a celebrtiy news blogger and that is what you should stick to doing. Your article about no nutritional value of sugar is incorrect. Let those of us in school stick to that type of information and you should stick to the FACTS and nothing else. refined sugars are a nightmare. frequent use can lead to problems down the road as well. as any opiates addict (or recovering addict) can tell you, sugars are HELL. the binging is enough to drive one crazy. if you know anyone that loves to shovel in the sweets, be concerned!

Because of her drug use, she likely has an overgrowth of yeast in her small intestine and throughout her body which is making her crave the sugar. Yeast feeds on sugar. People with celiac disease (who don't know they are celiacs) often get caught in the same cycle. She will not get well until she a) quits the drugs, and b) gets rid of the systemic yeast overgrowth in her body. Sad.
The only reason she loves this cottton candy soo much is because the people her were selling her the drugs(the couple that have just been arrested) have shown her how to lace it with cocaine….
So she is taking it just as much as she always has…
