If Sarah Palin can do for the economy what she's done for Tina Fey and television ratings, then she just might just have won our vote.
Juuust kidding!
But, Sexy Sarah has proven to be a bit of a lucky charm for Tina Fey, whose hilarious portrayal of the Little Lady from Alaska not only bolstered SNL ratings, but has drawn people back to her own Emmy award-winning 30 Rock.
And, it's gotten the show some new eyeballs too!
Thursday night's premiere debuted to 8.5 million viewers, 21% more than last year's debut. And with a guest appearance from Oprah Winfrey scheduled for next week's show, ratings are sure to continue to climb.
The rest of the NBC family landed the network in third place, with ratings for My Name is Earl dropping slightly, while Kath & Kim and ER experienced slight raises.
CBS won the ratings race despite mild drops in their strongest shows, such as Survivor (7%), CSI (17%), and Eleventh Hour (6%).
In second place ABC experienced ratings jumps with Grey's Anatomy and Life on Mars, with a slight drop in Ugly Betty's viewership, despite the Lindsay Scanadal.
Fox found itself in fourth place while the CW rounded things out with a fifth place finish.

I don't watch 30 Rock for Tina Fey's imitation of Elaine from Seinfeld. I watch it for Alec Baldwin. As he mellows a bit and get more rational, he is actually becoming an interesting person.
Fey can mock Palin all she wants- Palin has more experience than Obama and Biden is crazy. You KNOW he is. He is in a room somewhere tied up and duct taped and being fed alzheimer's meds. Go read what he's said. Scary stuff.
I asked my friend's little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?'
She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.'
'Wow…what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'You don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow, pull weeds, and rake my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use towards food and a new house.'
The little girl thought that over for a few seconds, and then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, 'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work and you can just pay him the $50?'
I said, 'Welcome to The Republican Party!"

McCain has staffers of Arab descent and has supported Arab American politicians in their quests for public office. The state of Hawaii has gone on record validating Obama's birth certificate, and there is an announcement in a Hawaiin newspaper of his birth. Most American parents announce their children's births in the local newspaper, but I await your new conspiracy theory, since you want to scare yourself for no reason.

I do agree with you on your point that all people who vote for McCain are not racists. They're just poor decision makers; however, there are some McCain supporters, who proudly admit their racist ideaologies, and other weak attempts at using covert racism by using phrases like, he's an Arab. That's a racist thing to say, because it's not true, and belonging to a specific ethnic group does not correlate to a political philosophy. Btw, what is McCain's platform?
