Back to the Clinic for Wino
Listen, do you hear that?
Yeah, that's the sound of us not being surprised to learn that Amy Winehouse is back in the hospital.
The addiction-plagued singer checked into the London Clinic last week, not for rehab, but for a chest infection. She returned this week to make sure there were no further complications.
And the doctor's advice?
Quit smoking!
Which seems a little mild considering what Wino is up against.
Friends say she's making a real effort this time…just like last time.
"She was covered in nicotine patches at one point," a source said.
Do they make crack patches?
But despite her ailments, addictions, and afflictions, Amy's London rep says she is recording in her home studio and even learning how to play the drums.
We didn't know she had enough strength to lift a drumstick!
She should have a drumstick, instead of all those sweets.
Either way, we're glad that Wino may be finally wising up, even if quitting smoking seems like just a drop in the giant cocaine cotton candy bucket.

Little Susie was not the best student in Catholic School . Usually she slept through the class.
One day her teacher, a Nun, called on her while she was sleeping.

When Susie didn't stir, little Johnny who was her friend sitting behind her, took his pencil and jabbed her in the rear.
'God Almighty!' shouted Susie.
The Nun said, 'Very good' and continued teaching her class.

But Susie didn't stir from her slumber. Once again, Johnny came to her rescue and stuck her in the butt.
'Jesus Christ!!!' shouted Susie.
And the Nun once again said, 'Very good,' and Susie fell back asleep.
The Nun asked her a third question…'What did Eve say to Adam after she had her twenty-third child?'
Again, Johnny came to the rescue. This time Susie jumped up and shouted, 'If you stick that damn thing in me one more time , I'll break it in half!'

OMG I quit Smoking cold turkey because I need to have a dental surgery…. and chances are that if you smoke the surgery would not be successful… I haven't had a craving… that was like 3 weeks agooo!! I'm so happy… The first time I quit was superrr difficult.. but now I have a real motive….. she has so many health problems bc of her addictions that it is all or none for her… It's going to be so hard.. and I'm guessing that her support system is not very supporting

I pray to God honestly, that Amy gets well. She is a massive talent, and some people react differently to fame than others. She's not healthy and needs to get better and make fantastic music.

Don't smoke. Don't smoke. Don't smoke. Whatever you do, don't smoke. If I can save one person with this message, I feel good. If you are a teenager or a person in their early twenties, it can be easy to quit. Just stop. Get the patch or nictoine gum if you must, but stop. If you have been a long time smoker, you can still quit and greatly diminish your chanes for cancer or other health problems. I was only 32 when I had a whole lung removed a part of another due to cancer. And that was from smoking approx 1 pack a day since 16 and no other drugs/influences. Yes you can get really sick at a fairly young age. Don't do it. It is not cool. Stop now.
