Biggest Loser Trainer is a Child Abuser

This made us sick to our stomach.
On Friday, Anthony Badalamenti, a New York trainer featured in the NBC show Biggest Loser, was arrested on charges of beating his live-in girlfriend's 6-year-old son and charged with second-degree assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
He's being held by authorities on a $100,000 bond.
According to reports, the young boy was beaten with weightlifting belts and had multiple lacerations and bruises on his right hand, right leg and buttocks when authorities found him.
The boy has been treated for his injuries and was released to a relative.
The child beater's landlord, who lives below the 'family', was the one who called authorities to intervene.
He told reporters that he heard the child's cries for nearly a month.
He considered it a private matter until he heard the screams again on Friday evening, "The child was pleading for mercy. I said, 'That's it, I can't take it anymore.' "
Sadly, the boy's mother, Jessica Muniz, has also been charged with the same charges as Badalamenti and is being held on $50,000 bond.
The Muniz and Badalamenti families have refused to comment.

I'm all for spanking but not multiple times or with a belt etc…my hand works just fine and only when its needy…not just cuz I have a bad day lol But if this land lord has heard noises/cries like that for a month…he waited way too long. Kids get in trouble and get spanked every now and then but if you hear multiple times in a month, he did the right thing. At least the kid is out of their custody and hope this family member is better!

Thank god this was stopped! In Britain this could have gone on for a lot longer as there is so much red tape to go through, plus child protection guidelines allow parents to be told where the complaint comes from which can stop people from reporting anything as they are frightened of the consequenses.
It is everyones responsability to protect our children.
I work with children with additional support needs and my employers are always sending us on the latest child protection courses and we get regular checks from child protection officials who test our knowlege. Well done to the landlord!!
