Is the Heroes ship on its way down?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, two of the show's co-executive producers quit the show because of "creative differences."
In this newest third season, Heroes has posted several season lows.
We don't watch, but we've heard friends complain about how crappy the show is at the moment.
Have you abandoned the Heroes ship or are you sticking around?

I LOVE this show, but I have to admit the first season was the best. I am confused as to what is going on and unclear on the goals for the season.
The first season, I found a great,detailed recap on NBC that really helped me keep up. Can't find it anymore - that would help a lot.

I still watch it! It isn't that bad. Much better than last season by far. My only dislike of the show is there is WAY too many characters and the show jumps back and forth alot through them with out alot of explanation. But I will continue to watch it. Not like there is anything else to watch on a Monday.
I love HEROES. If you have watched it from the beginning there is no way you could jump ship. It is hard for people who dont know whats going on to follow the show.. which could be a downfall for getting new fans. I hope HEROES lives on forever…

I didn't pay my tv licence because I couldn't afford to because I lost my job so the thought of watching such programmes is a distant dream.

I used to watch EVERY WEEK. But now, I feel the show has lost direction and is lacking in entertainment value. Just like many other shows. the writer's strike threw this one off course and now that it's back, I just don't care. Ciao, Heroes!

Re: sarah613 – completely agree and echo what you've said. I can see why its not getting new fans, its pretty complicated as a new viewer; as a loyal fan however i still absolutely love it! I even thought season 2 got back on track half way through, the only problem with that season was the hiro in japan storyline. As long as they keep the bostin storylines coming i cant see it going anywhere for a while
Dropped it,to many characters and plot lines going on plus there's the past present future shite your supposed of keep track of as well.

The show is too slow and mundane for what it's supposed to be- an action-packed superhero drama that manages to be as compelling as any other primetime drama. It isn't that. It's slow, the payoffs are universally disappointing and they ask the audience to be too patient. Patience is a virtue, but the kind of patience they ask you to illicit is uncalled for. Plus, a lot of the characters are unlikeable, too many cast changes and it seems like every single story line and character has no room to breath. LOST has similar issues but somehow is able to maintain enough balance and depth to keep us interested.
Use to be one of my favorites. Writing sucked this season. I no longer watch it.
I feel about Heroes how I feel about Lost. Too many questions, not enough answers. If you miss an episode, you're lost. How many of these types of shows can people watch. Lost is my least favorite show that I watch but I feel I've stuck with it this long and I have to find out what the deal is. Heroes is my 2nd least favorite show. I don't think it'll live beyond this season unless things turn around very quickly. But, even then, the viewers are already gone. Will they come back?
I don't think season 3 sucks. I thought season 2 was a little lame compared to the first, and it was a good thing the writers' strike forced them to collect themselves- I've been enjoying the 3rd season so far! I don't think it's perfect, by far… I think it needs a little more …. kickass. But I'm staying faithful.

I would have to agree with ennjay, the first season was the best. I'm trying to give it another shot but it's so confusing and hard to keep up with right now that I don't I'll be watching much longer.
Watched it a few times. Felt like I was watching a rehash of the X-Men. Didn't like it.

It was a really good show in season 1, season 2 sucked hard and this season has shown some slight promise but it keeps moving in odd directions at fast speeds.
I'll never stop watching….NEVER! Its amazing. I'm blates pashing off Zachary Quinto too.

Theyve basically turned the volume up all the way and pay less heed to real characterization and reasoning. You just need to dumb down when you watch it. Constantly remind yourself that you're smarter than the show… and you should be fine.
Season 1 wasnt as good as people seem to remember it as.

i still watch Heros but I find myself not sitting on the edge of my seat to watch it. I DVR everything, and usually i would find myself waiting 15 min into the show to watch it and be able to fast forward through commercials. But now it is days before I get to watch. actually I still have last weeks to watch. But I will watch it till the end just like ER. I haven't missed an ER yet.

I used to enjoy watching it, not it's a bit of a chore and things turn out stupid half the time, the characters are annoying and they make stupid choices, plus it seems like the story line is unclear and keeps changing or is ambiguous, too much crap…Lost I still love, now that's one show I can't wait to watch again.
I LOVE that show. It's one of the few I actually sit and watch and DON'T flip. I think it's quite a bit better than it was last year. They got rid of the 100 newbies and have a good core or villians and heroes….unforch, sometimes it's hard to see who is on what side. LOVE IT! (Although Hayden gets a bit grating with her acting skills - Jack Coleman is AWESOME!)

I've only abandoned Heroes due to the conflict with Dancing with the stars.
I'm sad to hear the ratings are down, but when you have it up against some really good competition, its no surprise. I really hope this isn't the last season, and I'm looking forward to either a break in the series, when they replay the episodes from the begining of the season again, or, at least when it's released on DVD. 
What's sad is that this 18 year old child looks like a 45 year old weathered bar tramp. She'll be scary at 27, let alone 47. Quit with the frosted hair (adds 25 years on and makes her look like her mom) and the glued on lashes. Be a kid, for fuck's sake! She has Alli Lohan syndrome.
I heard about it yesterday, and I think that's bad.
I love this show, this season is a little confusing but I still watch it and love it! So if they gave denise richards another season, they can't cancel Heroes!!!

Honestly, Heroes season 1 is one of the best shows ever made. Season 2 they let me down - too many new characters, and season 3 they shit the bed entirely.
I tried REALLY hard to watch the third season, but there's too many characters, everyone and their dog has a superpower, and the writing is terrible. I stopped watching after the 3rd or 4th episode, and won't watch it anymore…
this show has gotten *SO BAD* since season one… all the characters seemed to have change personalities. Plus they have killed or written off practically every single black character to date… Honestly, I don't blame the writers for leaving it has no plot anymore.

That's sad!!! I really like the show!!! I don't watch it on tv though. From this season I've only seen the Season Premiere!!! I like to rent it later on, that way I can see all the episodes at once. I really HATE waiting from week to week. I liked the Season Premiere, It wasn't the best, but it was good. I hope the show doesn't get canceled

Show started off great…season finale of Season I was craptastic and it's been screaming downhill since…They lost me three or four episodes into the turd they called Season II.
Bs Information. Its not going down hill. In my eyes it can only get better.
I like this season better than last season. I think it's doing pretty well now that the Maya thing is done. I liked the elle/claire ep a lot.

Heroes went from really cool awesome Mondays to being a damn soap opera for comic books geeks. The new format has way too many jumps forward (both in time AND story) too many new characters and develops too little plot advances between each episode. Imagine a comic book that only tells 5 minutes of story per book. But its telling 20 different stories! Hopefully by the end of the season they'll tie it up. Definitely too busy, though.
I hope Grey's is next.
Gave up on it a few weeks ago; there's too many other shows worth watching more.

Heroes would have been great had they STUCK TO THE ORIGINAL PLOT from season 1. Instead, they got all hokie and started adding unneeded heroes when all they had to do was KILL SYLAR. He was caught in the first season, but he wasn't guarded, and then pops up in the second season in the middle of nowhere? Worst writing and storyline I've EVER seen - and that includes "The Animal" starring Rob Schneider.

Abandoned. They seriously need to get their shit together and form a cohesive, followable plot. Nothing worse than missing an episode and not even knowing what year, timeline, alternate fricken dimension you are even in. And stop throwing in new abilities to plug plot holes!
Heroes was good at first, but they kept trying too hard to be LOST. No show can top LOST!

I stopped watching last season when it revolved too much around the fat chink (the chunk?). I've started watching it again this season, but am over it. Too many characters, not enough action.
I am sticking around, I love the show and also really can't stand celebrity driven reality shows so Heroes is always my one and only pick for Monday nights.
I love Heroes. It is a great show! I hope that is stays on the air for a few more seasons!
