The Simpsons Deliver Halloween Ratings Gold

The Simpsons' latest installment of its traditional series of Halloween episodes drew the most viewers the show has experienced in the last five years.
The fourth episode of the show's 20th season played to approximately 12.5 million viewers and was well-received by critics and fans.
Taking advantage of the election atmosphere, Treehouse of Horror XIX opened with a political satire, wherein Homer is killed by a heavily right-biased voting machine. The show goes on to parody film and television, including but not limited to a clever homage to Charlie Brown, which was the most lauded of the special's sketches.
So we guess people are still watching The Simpsons!

i completely missed this, and though i still find the simpons "charming", i have to say family guys has far surpassed them in humor.

1970's had better cartoons, more creative times!

this show isn't even funny anymore. i'll only start watching it if perez starts being a regular simpson on the show; that would be funny. but yet again, i'd have to pay for a new tv screen in replacement of the one that cracked.
Re: topper – This site is basically about people Mario likes (Madonna, Kayne "Overrated" West, The Jonas Brothers, Posh & Becks, Katy Perry) and people he doesn't like (Lindsey Lohan & Samanda, Miley Cyrus, & Lily Allen). Perez can't go 1 day without talking about at least 5 of those names mentioned.
Oh, I forgot to mention the guyface guy from High School Musical & the Chase guy from that CW TV show.

interest may increase or decrease , from time to time, but as long as this modern culture , continues to deliver, they will continua to deliver as well.
My husband is a hard-core Simpsons fan but this episode was one of the worst Halloween eps. ever.
We just weren't feelin' it at all.
