It's official!

Floridians aren't the only ones entitled to a free cup of Starbucks coffee for voting.

The company has rolled out the offer nationwide!

Woo hoo!

BUT, Californians you may be S.O.L.

According to reports, the state has a law that bans giving things to people to vote or stay away from the polls.

Tear!

Starbucks is going on the honor system - so they won't be requiring "proof" that you voted. But, don't take advantage of their generosity.

Plus, it's important to do your civic duty and vote!!!!

I don't see this as a smart business decision. They are already shutting down locations all across the country because of lack of sales, and now they are going to use up a huge amount of resources to give out free 5 dollar cups of coffee to anyone passing through? Not very smart in my opinion. Nice, sure, but not smart.

it says free cup of coffee not free espresso, latte, or cappuccino. and starbucks isn't more expensive than dunkin donuts. look at dunkin donuts latte/cappucino prices- they are the same as starbuck's. compare just COFFEE prices; they are about the same. plus, starbucks is a lot nicer!
