Don't hate! Appreciate the different ways that people express themselves politically.
For goodness sake, this is America!
In a recent interview Underwood said, "I lose all respect for celebrities when they back a candidate. It's saying that the American public isn't smart enough to make their own decisions. I would never want anybody to vote for anything or anybody just because I told them to."
We think that's an unfair statement, Carrie!
Why are you assuming to know where people are coming from when they voice their political opinions?

Remember the Dave Chappelle skit where his coworker would talk about fucking his wife in the ass but when asked about his political stance he was like "whoa whoa whoa DAVE…who I vote for and what I believe in should be private…"
People will tell you who they fucked, drugs they did etc etc but want to keep their choices to themselves probably because theyd get crucified for the poor choices they make.

Carrie is a democrat. It is on public record. I agree with the magna *** laude gradute. I don't want any celebrity trying to use their position in the media to influence my vote. If they are on the payroll of the party fine otherwise keep your campaigning to yourself. Carrie is right. Americans get informed and make you own choice. Carrie just exercised her right to freedom of expression and heres mine. I loose all respect for celebrities that publicly endorse candidates. I have a brain and don't need them telling me who to vote for. Especially Ben Affleck. He should spend his time taking acting lessons.

I agree with Carrie. I think it's wrong to use your fame to influence people who look up to you to vote for whoever you want. The majority of teenagers who voted this year only voted because their "idol" told them that's who they wanted. Americans should think for themselves.
