      Ray J probably does owe part of his wealth to the attention he got from his sex tape. However, part of it is also due to his music career. His music career is mainly as successful as it is, though, because of the connections he has made through his sister and because of the looks he was born with. He is, by no means, a true artist, nor is he particularly developed, vocally. Almost anybody in the country could easily sing any of the melodies Ray J does, given some time and direction to focus on very basic ear-training and singing technique. Add a catchy "beat" that has been created by someone else for no intended purpose other than to appeal to mainstream America, and you have a hit song. Very easy work with an insanely disproportionate financial reward.

      And for the record, it's funny that Perez thinks he can point fingers at people for sacrificing their dignity for financial gain. Does he even know *where* his dignity is?!

      Actually, Ray J was famous and has been acting and singing for YEARS before the sex tape came out. Kim Karashian was the nobody that needed the sex tape to become famous. Funny how her and Paris had "leaked" sex tapes before the premier of their reality shows…
