Stop beating a dead horse, Perez! The voters have spoken. Prop 8 will EVENTUALLY be repealed and gays, lezbos, etc. will EVENTUALLY get the right to marry but, obviously, a thin majority of Californians are against it at the time being. I, personally, voted against it. Although I am heterosexual, I don't have a problem with allowing others of different sexual persuasions to have the same rights and privileges as I do.
I'm starting a Canadian Prop8 rally in Ottawa on Parliament Hill at 12:30pm
to show support for our US counterparts. Show your support by marching on the hill this Saturday!
Other Canadian cities start rallying at your city hall or large gathering sites.
Let's show everyone we're a force and we care about our US neighbours!

As Americans it is our right to protest it is our right to gather. People protested against Bush and the war but I didn't see anyone on here say that's beating a dead horse. We gathered!
I am a married straight woman and I don't see the passing of prop 8 as a gay issue, it's a human rights issue.
