More Angry Twilight Fans

Filed under: Twilight > Robert Pattinson

wenn5206174.jpg

Though, thankfully, things didn't get violent - like it did in San Francisco on Monday - many Twilight fans hoping to meet Robert Pattinson are upset with how another promo event in Illinois was handled today.

Perezcious reader Ashley tells us:

Hi Perez, love your site. I went to Orland Square Mall in Orland Park, IL to stand in line to get tickets to get an autograph from Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen. I left my house at 3:30 am and drove an hour to get there at 4:30 am. Reading your site earlier about the chaos in San Fransisco I researched when to be there. I even called the mall last night to find out what entrance to go to. They told me that people wouldn't be aloud to line up until 5:00 am and that Hot Topic would start selling wristbands at 7:30 am. So imagine my surprise when I got there and already 100 people where there all standing around telling me they were all sold out. There were plenty of police and mall security there. They told us that Hot Topic decided to sell the tickets earlier at 11:00 pm last night and that they were sold out at midnight. Then they proceded to tell all of us that if we didn't start to leave they would arrest us. There were many upset and angry fans there, including me. I was talking to people who drove from Indiana and another group that drove 6 hours. I find it complete bullshit that the people who decided to follow the rules got punished. I'm not mad at the police, I'm pissed of at Hot Topic, for the bullshit that they pulled. I love the Twilight series and would have loved to have met Robert Pattinson who plays my favorite character in the book.

Something needs to be done. Thanks for listening.

That does suck indeed!

This promo tour sounds like it might be too much for malls to handle.

Maybe it's best you guys avoid going???

Re: FAGS SHOULD BE SMOKED! – I would stand in line all day just to sniff your sweet ass!

  11. 11

I find it bullshit that she doesn't know how to spell allowed.

  12. 12

DUMB ASS! NOBODY IS THAT IMPORTANT TO WASTE ALL THAT EFFORT TO MEET! MABE GHANDI OR WINSTON CHURHILL BUT SOME ACTOR FROM A MOVIE! LOSERS KEEP WORSHIPING YOUR HOLLYWOOD FALSE IDOLS!

  13. 13

I have not read the books yet but this is insane. I would be so pissed if I drove that far and they told me they sold them earlier without warning.

  14. 14

Re: harrybalsacRe: FAGS SHOULD BE SMOKED! – MORNING MY PEEPS! WHERE'S MY HATERS I HAD ALOT YESTERDAY!!!

  15. 15

    How completely devastating. Not.

  16. 16

This reminds me of this time when I was about 12 years old and my mom, brother and I went to this feed store to buy a bunny rabbit because our old rabbit was killed by a dog. We found the cutest fucking baby bunnies in the entire world and the owner told us to come back in a week, lets say 11 am on a wednesday, so we could purchase a rabbit. We did this, I was even allowed to skip school making this day that much more exciting. So we get there and low and behold, the assface had sold the rabbits the day before. We were pissed.

  20. 20

maybe if people boycotted the next few events hot topic would get a clue and start handling shit right

  21. 21

I dont get how Summit/Hot Topic underestimated Rob's appeal. Its obvious how big he's become for ages. Someone needs a bollocking for this mess.

  22. 22

Re: La Diva – MORNING BITCHFACE!

  23. 23

These stories of chaos over some cheesy vampire romance story would be ALOT better if there were actually some fatalities. Nothing better than some fat premature 13 year old girl getting trampled by people that think they are punk rock and dare I say "goth" for shopping at Hot Topic.

  24. 24

Morons….getting all worked up over a stupid movie.
    .
    .
Re: harrybalsac – Hmm, you like the smell of ass don't you? Sick bastard.

  25. 25

Go to tmz and look at the pic of him. Enough said. No, I wouldn't stand in line to see any celebrity, but I would absolutely do him if the opportunity came up!

  26. 26

I wouldn't do it but I do feel bad for those people. The f-up made the Chicago news too. Nothing like some bad press.

  27. 27

Why would people drive 6 hours to see someone that COULDN'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THEM? Idiots.

  28. 28

Hot Topic is a sore spot for Mario. Couldn't even sell his shit on clearance! Maybe Dollar General will pick his clothing line up..

  29. 29

I'm so excited Perez posted my e-mail. Leeeesa I too find it bullshit that I couldn't spell allowed or San Francisco right. That's embarrassing. Anyway I have been up since 3 am and need to go to bed. I'm blaming it on lack of sleep. I need to get a life, but I love the books and it is understandable that I would be upset by this.

  30. 30

    Re: LettyB – Morning cocksucker

  31. 31

i was supposed to go to that, my friend katie and i were going to leave her house, which is in valparasio indiana, and drive out there at like 4 am because we figured that the earlier we got there the better chance we would have to get the wristbands, but my mom called me just as we were about to leave and told me they sold out of the twilight wristbands early. i was like, you can't do that it's false advertisement if you say you're going to sell or do something at a certian time, and it's printed on flyers, and then you decide to do it at 11 pm the night before. i'm sorry, i don't think it's fair to everyone that they did that.

  32. 32

Yeah Hot Topic is really effing this up

  33. 33

That's unfortunate, but the people who got passes were obviously more desperate to meet R Patt than this girl. Maybe she should have camped out and not taken a chance? Personally, I don't care who it is…I would never wait in line for hours to meet someone or get an autograph. J. Simpson came to our local dept store 5 or 6 years ago and they wanted people to buy, like, $70 worth of jeans to meet her. Ridiculous! It's all a marketing ploy. The only reason these celebs are doing these tours is to sell products. I looked into it and you have to buy a $30 t-shirt to meet whoever is there. Hot Topic is banking off all of these swooning teenage girls willing to cut off an arm and a leg to meet the actor(s). I love the Twilight books, but I mean…good god! This is just getting crazy….

  34. 34

That is soooooo wrong! That girl should get in free now. And all u people really need to stop hating. If you don't like the movie, or the idea of the movie then ignore it. If it's not your thing, oh well. But before you go and trash it, give it a freaking chance. This is more than some tennage girl obsesstion. So, take your head's out of your asses, and get a clue!

  35. 35

    I dont get it….he is not hot…..

This is a flsh in the pan if i have ever seen one

  36. 36

I was at the Dallas Galleria last night and you would have thought that the Beatles were back together. Robert kept pulling on his hair and giving looks of frusturation. It looked like he was terrified that these girls were going to jump over the railing and tackle him to the ground. These girls need to CHILL OUT! Last night when I was standing over the second floor, I saw a girl who, it looked like sprained her ankle. Security lifted her over the railing and carried her out of the area. My ears were RINGING when I left the mall. You couldn't even hear a THING he was saying because he is so soft spoken. Poor guy…..

  37. 37

Hot Topic is involved in the promo tour for the movie? Why Hot Topic?

  38. 38

The fact of the matter is people become so obsessed with celebrity their common sense goes out the window.

It's time to rethink yourself and your interests when you drive hours at a time at obscene hours just to get a wristband to see an actor.

Don't get me wrong, I love the books and want to see the flick. But I'm old enough to not give a crap about standing in line to see the actor. If he's not coming anywhere near your town or if you've already HEARD of the chaos these appearances have caused, stay the hell home. Wait for the movie. Go stare at a poster of him or watch something on YouTube.

Geez when i was a teenager(many many moons ago) I had my crushes but I never tried to go meet the guys in this type of hysteria. I think it's ridiculous the lengths these girls will go to.

No WONDER Pattinson is scared, have you SEEN some of the videos of these girls going after him? It's like all levels of rational thinking has left the building for these kids. Where are the parents? I mean if my daughter was ever to act like this over an actor I'd be a little concerned.

  39. 39

I'm 25 and from Indiana and I called the Orland Park mall last night at 9:00 Pm and talked to Hot Topic. They told me that already at that time there were 100 people camped out! I was shocked, because the wristbands weren't going to sold until 7:30 AM and it was freezing cold and rainy! I said forget it, because I had planned to leave Indiana at 3 am and get there by 4 am, but the guy told me that by that time there would be way over 500 people. I guess I could've left by 9 pm and got there by 10:30 pm and I would've got a wristband and been able to go back home and go to bed. It's really not fair that they sold them early. Its BULLSHIT! What is with parents? Don't those teenage girls have school??? BAD PARENTING! I am a fan of Twilight and Rob, but I totally feel bad for him. He is probably scared out of his mind!

  40. 40

WAIT WAIT WAIT! I was there this morning too, Ashley. I feel your pain, we probably ran into each other.

To the people saying that we are desperate and got what we deserved…perhaps. However, did anyone there in Chicago today, notice what all the people looked like that were leaving the mall, the people that received wrist bands? They looked like employees of Hot Topic. It was clearly an inside job. I called my mall today to see if anyone was at my Hot Topic today and a manager answered saying they were on their way back from getting wrist bands.

Oh, and to the mothers who were there with wristbands…is it absolutely necessary that you get Rob Pattinson's Autograph? Perhaps some of you are really fans of his (creepy), but for the rest of us teen-twenty somethings, we were SOL.

Hot Topic should be ashamed of themselves. Not that i would ever want to shop at that dirty, goth/emo filled cutting fest, but sending out a mass phone call to all of your shops within a 40 mile sucks.

Oh and to the mother who said her daughter was depressed and sitting in the car, fast forward that comment an hour later to her saying her daughter was in critical condition and in the hospital…and then got in when threatening to call the police…i applaud you. fuck them like they fucked us.

  41. 41

LOL, amen Guinevere! And for those of you who say this isn't just a teenage girl thing…..just wait until opening night of Twilight on the 21st. You count and see how many older adults and/or men are there……………..

  42. 42

P.S….I am 22 and I am a fan of the Twilight series. I am just saying that the Twilight fan base is predominately females, and of those females, most are high-school age, possibly college age. There is a target demographic for the movie promotion. Hot Topic is not stupid…they know what kind of people will be waiting in line and they cater to that. Notice that Kristin Stewart is only making a few appearances while the male actors have MANY more appearances. Coincidence? I don't think so….

  43. ISSA says – reply to this

    43

POOR ROB, HOPE IT'S OVER SOON FOR YOU!!!!
    This is just too much!!!!!!!!
Next time, he needs a stadium :)

  44. 44

People are crazy. I would never drive that long to meet someone, let alone stand in some huge ass line just to buy a $30 t-shirt to get a wristband to have some actor sign it.

Don't get me wrong…I LOVE this book, the entire series is wonderful. But really, you haven't even seen the movie…and people are already getting stupid over it.

Also, why would it matter what time Hot Topic started selling the shirts for the wristband if there were already that many people in line. If those 500 people got there at 10 pm the night before tix went on sale and were gonna wait til 5 am the next morning they would still be the first 500 people in line and get the shirt/wristband. Does this not make sense to anyone else?

Just because you chose to drive all that way and show up at the time the tix were to go on sale is your own fault. Those same people that were waiting the night before would still be there…even if they had to wait in their car til the right time. You would still not have your autograph.

  45. 45

Any of you Chicago Twilighters that didnt get tix to meet Rob going to his Q & A at 7:30?

  46. 46

The book sucked so I def. wouldn't see the movie and I most def. would NOT drive to get an autograph from ANYONE!!!!!! I guess the book was intended for teens so I guess maybe that is why I thought it was predictable and def. not a great read.

  47. 47

I'm not saying a thing about the people waiting because I have waited in line for a concert just to get prime stop during a famous February Canadian cold snap.

My ticket, however, is guarenteed I'd get in even if I didn't get a good spot.

Where of these people show up only to have the time changed on when they hand out the stuff early. Hot Topic is being rediculous to say the least.

I feel bad for those who actually followed the rules only to get turned away. For those thinking about doing it, it might be best to not go. Especially since we see how 'well' they're handling it. :/

  48. 48

I'm not going to the Q&A. It was an hour drive for me this morning and I'm not going back if I'm not getting an autograph. Besides heard the Q&A portion sucks and that you could barely hear him.

  49. 49

I am a huge fan of the Twilight series myself and am huge fans of the characters. And that is what they are….characters. You're seriously crying over not being able to meet an actor who plays the character you love. I am sure he's nothing like Edward and wouldn't be able to compare to him. My advice: Get over it. You wasted your time.

  50. 50

    Woah.
    That's major suckage.
I'm going to the signing in Philly tomorrow with my best friend who is in love with R Patz.
If this kind of shit happens there, I will NOT be pleased with Hot Topic and they will be hearing a lot of angry words from me.

  51. 51

he looks so stoned all the time.

  52. 52

oh my, this movie is so over rated, i believe its going to be like snoozefest of a movie similar to this that came out i think last year called, The Covnent, the previews made it look so good and action packed, but it was a horrible loud movie, and i think this will be the same, you dont even get that much from the previews. and i think he is super ugly.

  53. 53

i am going to the signing in boston of friday. if shit like this goes down i will flip my lid. it's such bullshit that hot topic is fucking people over.

  54. 54

    Re: danetty757
I've seen lots of footage and behind the scenes videos for the movie. If you are a fan of the book, it won't dissappoint you. I guarantee.

  55. 55

    He's doing a Q&A?
wtf, I wanted to go meet him but wtf!
Hot Topic can just suck my NUTS! lol
I aint spending $30 to see his ass be all scared lol!

  56. 56

ok here was the run down for all of you talking about shit you dont know…

The mall security stated the day before the event that they would kick anyone off the property for loitering if they arrived before 5AM the date of the event.
Hot Topic said when called that they would open their doors to start selling wristbands at 7:30AM.
Sometime between 10:00 pm (when i called) and 11:00 pm, mall security and Hot Topic decided to start letting people in at 12:00AM

MY question for all of you is…how did all those people know to be there so early? How did those people get informed to be there when the doors opened at midnight instead of 5AM?

Don't get me wrong. I came home, went back to sleep, turned off my phone and am moving on with my day. This has nothing to do with Rob Pattinson himself. He had absolutely nothing to do with the signing. Hot Topic and Orland Park Mall should apologize to those of us who followed directions and showed up to avoid rioting. That 10% coupon some sales ASSociate from HT tried to hand me only good for today, only good at THEIR store really blew too by the way.

  57. 57

Oh BTW, mall security says they let people in because it was raining. Boo Fucking Hoo. I'll still go see the movie, this had no affect on my feeling towards the book or the actors in the movie. Just the southwest suburbs of Chicago.

And don't go back to the mall for the f-ing Q & A. Don't give the city of Orland Park or the Orland park mall any more of your time or money.

  58. 58

I would also like to warn all of you who are going to all the other Rob Pattinson signings. If you want to be one of the 500 people to get wristbands, you are going to have to camp out overnight which is crazy (especially in the colder states). An insider from Hot Topic told me that they are expecting to have the same things happen at all of Rob's signings. So unless you camp out at 8-9 PM the night before, do not be surprised if you don't make it. This is crazy and getting very out of hand.

  59. 59

This things scare the shit out of Rob….

  60. 60

I can't believe someone actually thought that a mall tour was a good idea in the first place. I think that is very weird in the first place. The only place I think I've ever stood in line to meet anyone at the mall was Santa or maybe the Easter Bunny and that's been quite some time ago.

  61. 61

    ha!

  62. 62

When are we all just going to realize that the man needs to be cloned??? He is too fu*king hot to be just one guy!!! We need hundreds, if not thousands just like him…whoever invents the Rob blow-up doll will be RICH!!!!! Hmmmmmm?

  63. 63

    lol… edit before enter :)

  64. 64

We over at IMDB have thought this mall tour at Hot Topic was ridiculous. Surely Summit knows how big this thing is after Comic Con. But they are still shilling out Robert like he's the sacrificial lamb. Poor guy. And from recent interviews, he feels terrible about all this. They had BETTER give the guy a huge financial bonus after all the work he's doing for this film.

  65. 65

This Hot Topic tour thing was obviously a bad idea. Robert shouldn't do it. How awful for him. Why do people want autographs anyway? I don't really get the autograph thing. It's just a piece of paper with a signature.

  66. 66

I was there and got a ticket. This is how it went down. I live in Orland Park. I was planning on following the rules. I had called Hot Topic, Mall Security, and the Orland Park Police Dept. to hear the same thing that everybody else was told. However, my friend drove past the mall at 9:15 and called to tell me that people were lining up. We were planning on going at 4:00 a.m., but with that news I drove over to the mall. By 9:30, I was the 176th person in line. Most of the people I talked to had similar experiences. Alot of people were from out of town. People had driven in and before they went to their hotels or friends they went to check out the mall. To their surprise there was a line. Nobody knew they were going to let people line up, it just happened. We were going to go at 4:00 am anyhow, but we just got lucky. It's not like we weren't following the rules and were trying to screw people, we were in the right place at the right time. However, I agree that HT should have followed the plan that they put out to the public. Everybody just chill on the idol worship thing. It's fun to participate in something like this, it's really not that big of a deal.

  67. 67

how lame I would never even walk down the block to meet this guy! Nobody cared about him when he was Cedric but now that hes Edward oooooh the world has gone mad! Meyer is a horrible writer.

  68. 68

Re: mblahnikluver – Dont waste your time I read 2 of them and I regret it immensely. Her writing style is atrocious, Harlequin romance is better.. ha!

  69. 69

Re: I got a ticket. – well you got a ticket and happened to be lucky so you can say that. If you were in our positions you would be just as pissed. About worshiping Rob, whatever your probably just as obsessed as half of the other girls out there or else you wouldnt have driven by to see if there was a line.

  70. 70

It's sad when people go to such extremes to see a celeb.

  71. 71

He's like a freaking chocolate bar and every woman in the world is on the rag. Trust me…it's only going to get more intense!!! I just want more Rob ;)

  72. 72

he is a person. i am a fan but you guys are crazy. like
i went to dallas to see him. and im so shocked. and freaked out.

  73. 73

    i would never avoid going!

  74. 74

DIS SPAZ HAS SOME SERIOUS ISSUES!! CRAZY WHAT SOME PEOPLE WOULD DO JUST TO SEE THEIR "FAVORITE" FILM STAR! QUIT WHINING, THERE'S A WAR GOIN ON, PPL ARE DYING OF CANCER, CHILDREN ARE GETTIN ABUSED, THESE PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING AT THE HANDS OF OTHERS, THAT'S WHAT'S BULLSHIT, YOURS ISN'T EVEN A PROBLEM. GET A LIFE U SHALLOW LITTLE BRAT AND BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT YOU DO HAVE!

  75. 75

I don't think that the marketing/promo team realized the immensity of the whole Twilight fascination prior to making these arrangements with Hot Topic. It's not like Mr. Pattinson is just a small-time guy anymore. He's in the big leagues now. You can't book somebody of his caliber for an autograph signing at a retail location that has the square footage of my living room and not expect pandamonium! I understand that his "rise to the top" happened relatively quickly, but these people are paid to forecast this type of stuff. I feel bad that it seems like he's disappointing his fans. I'm sure he isn't happy about that either. :(

  76. 76

Re: LickMeChuck – SERIOUSLY! I was there too! I just wanted to get a few pictures of him, say "Yeah I saw him once…", grab a t-shirt, and that was it.

I was at the Q&A for 10 minutes…got a few pictures, even video…and then walked away with my vocal cords still in tact. I went up to the Hot Topic to grab a tshirt and a poster for a girl who I work with who's room mates bf had gotten into a car wreck so they couldn't go. They weren't letting anyone in because of the Q&A session so I went out and smoked with some of the employees and talked to them about the MOB. We come back and there about 100 plus waiting to get into the store to buy more Twilight stuff. IT WAS INSANE! One of the workers grabbed me and said, 'You're cool to come it…hurry before they trample us!" So I ran in, grabbed a tshirt and poster for my friend, and got out of there. Mothers were SCREAMING at security officers because they wouldn't let their daughters into the store. IT WAS INSANE!!!!!!

  77. 77

ah, the one in MA is on friday…
    I'm scared :x

  78. 78

"Something needs to be done". Give me a break loser - you seriously need to GET A LIFE going to such lengths to get someone's name written on a piece of paper. If this is so important to you, you really need to evaluate your life and get some priorities.

"Something needs to be done" - there are people in this world that don't get to EAT and you're whining about THIS???

  79. 79

I went to see Rob yesterday in Dallas. It was absolutely insane. I went to see R Pats because he is, well, hot. Anyway, my sister and I didn't get in because they reached capacity while we were being trampled in line at 5 AM. Anyway, we were front row at the Q and A portion which was nice but I heard nothing because my ears were ringing from the screams of teenage girls.

I still love you R Pats. You are way hot in person.

  80. 80

I wanna go see him soooo bad! but yeah i live in chicago, i decided school was more important. I'm glad i did, i would have been pissed if i drove an hour from my house to find out those dumbasses that came last night got tickets instead of me. But he's doing a Q&A session, you don't need a wristband for that, oh how I wish I could go!!

  81. 81

For me it's strange…I'm not a crazed out celebrity stalker but DAMN, ROBERT!! This dude is FREAKIN' HOT! I was CRUSHED in Frisco and now am on crutches. I even called the mall security 3 weeks B4 (i found out B4 Hot Topic put it on their site) and TOLD THEM THAT @ LEAST 1000 people were gonna be there! They DIDN'T BELIEVE ME!! I think they just didn't realize how CRAZY it would get. I camped out overnight and WAS SO SURE i was gona meet him, they LIED 2 us as many of you know and in any case I had to go to the ER for my f*cked up knee being trampled on. You know, it's sad cuz when are we gona actually GET 2 C HIM in PERSON 4 a signing again?? N-E-V-E-R. I just wanted to get an autograph, have a little fun with people i met that night and go home happy! Instead I got F*CKED OVER BY THE SF POLICE & HOT TOPIC (i hate u h.t.)…4 all U guys going u BETTER CAMP out AROUND 8 PM the night before!! Good luck…:::sniffles::: i never got 2 meet him ::sighs::

  82. 82

& u talk about the mexicans! ha!
    love Robert!!!!!
    Twilight!!!!

  83. 83

Although both of these events with robert sound pretty crazy, i went to the one in seattle with Taylor, Rochelle and Edi and it went really well. They sold the wristbands at the correct time and everyone got a number and was placed in line and then we got our autographs in that order. The three of them were really nice and talked to us as we were signing. Then about an hour later there was a question and answer, which was a little more chaotic, but still fun. I really enjoyed it and would recommend if you're a hardcore fan that you should think about going.

  84. 84

Man i wish they would do it at a hot topic store near me!! I wish I could go!

    I love you Rob!!
    I love TWILIGHT!!

  85. 85

well i feel bad for these people from other palces! i live in Dallas and got there at 2am yesterday to purchase my ticket. it was so crazy, there was like no line and everyone was going crazy and the POLICE were yelling at people and pushing them. but it ended up being worth it because i was number 308 out of 500. last night when i met Rob he was really nice and sweet. i just felt kinda bad for him because during the Q&A everytime he brought the mike up to his mouth to talk girls started screaming! one even started screaming right in front of him when he was signing her poster!! he is such a good sport for putting up with all the crazies! Rob's mom if you are reading this i feel for you and your son. ( :

It sucks to be a sheep in a herd..AKA teenager. I'm so glad I'm over that shit.

LAY OFF TWILIGHT! your just bored you have nothing better to do with yourself than rag on people who found something to do!….it was totally worth it to see him in frisco! but it is hella wrong the way hot topic handled the situation and the fans suffered because they didnt anticipate the outcome. but either way he is one fine ass mofo!!! i would do it all over again just to touch him!!!!….yummy!

I AGREE!! Can't help reading all these posts thinking 'Don't worry petal, one day you'll grow up and realise that this really isn't important'. Come to think of it, in a year it will probably be completely forgotten.

people need to get over the fact that he's playing Edward. Edward is a FICTIONAL CHARACTER! he is not a real person! This obsession is getting annoying. I've read the books and like them alot but these people take it too far.

thats bs… me and my friend just found out that the ht near us did the same exact thing… we are leaving soon to try anyway haha

    Are you fucking kidding me?
I have no sympathy for manic obsessive 14-year-olds, let alone a full grown woman who gets up at the peak of the early morning to drive an hour and meet some kid at a Hot Topic.
Take your fat ass with your eyelinered boyfriend and your Jack Skellington merchandise and waddle back home where you can be a valuable contribution to society. You need to see a therapist. There are more important things to flip a shit over other than you didn't get to fulfill your fantasy of hopefully maybe meeting the guy you masturbate to when your parents aren't home and telling all your stupid friends he was hitting on you. You need to get a life and find more valuable things to idolize, you pathetic twats.

Oh lord, I was sent away as well but I didn't leave, I took a drive around and luckily when I came back I heard Rob was there. I don't understand why every one is riticizing Rob. it's not his fault!! Back of all you negative people.

Wow I'm really sorry to hear that it didn't work out for her. I don't get why all the girls were so out of control at these places. The one in Boston was very calm and there were no problems. I've learned that the girls are a little insane because the girls around me in line were plotting things like how they were going to kiss him and such but no one tried anything. I waited in line for 13 hours in 20 degree rainy weather for a very short lived conversation with him because security won't let you up there for more than 30 seconds even if he's the one initiatiing the conversation. I've learned my lesson to never do that again. It's cool to have the autograph and all but now i have strep that is going to last a lot longer than i got to talk to him haha. I actaully felt foolish the moment i was in line for an hour.
